Keep getting 99% floor clears

And keep wondering - did i miss some jar or maybe a maw rat fell into textures.

I saw the same thing last night, on all three floors that required clearing trash mobs and urns, even though I did my best to fully clear them.

On Skoldus, or Upper Reaches?

one on the left side this week. Did it twice, got 233 score, but all floors 99%

Skoldus Hall. I plan to do Upper Reaches tonight.

With 233 you got flawless already.

Is it just a completionist thing? Could be a jar that was out of bounds or behind a wall or something unfeasible.

I did both wings yesterday and despite clearing every single thing I got 99% completion on floor 1 of each layer.

I made sure to look for every soul and vase and yet for some reason i only got 99%.

Also, how the hell I am supposed to get 200 points as a healer solo?
I can melt the last boss in seconds with convoke on my druid, not die once, kill and clear everything and yet I keep getting 170~190 scores. It’s so stupid.

Yes, just mild OCD that annoys me. I just want to see that 100%

  • Kill the final boss in 20 seconds (+20 points)

  • Get an elite double kill (kill 2 elites within 10 seconds) (+10 points)

  • Don’t take any epic anima powers (+10 points)

  • Don’t spend Phantasma if you can afford not to. (+10 points)

  • Kill all elites you fight within ~30 seconds of getting aggro on them (+15 points)

  • Use empowerment when killing elites or large groups of mobs (up to +30 points).

  • Avoid taking the same power twice if you can afford to (+15 points). Alternatively, take 5 of the same power (+10 points).

Might’ve been one jar.

At least you aren’t so heavily penalized for not killing all the rats and jars. The rats and jars seem less weighted than other objects on the floor now, whereas previously they were weighed evenly and you could lose a lot of score if you neglected rats.

weird, i’m usually felrush into them with immolation aura, there’s no way just one jar would survive that

To add onto this, I think you get another 10 points if you don’t get hurt by a single trap during the entire run.

Only 99% for me. All floors of Skoldus

I’m gonna give it another try, thanks for the hints

I have done 4 Torghast runs with the new system, and did 5-gem for 3 of the 4 runs. Only run we didn’t make 5-gem was when my buddy selected an epic power and then we scuffed the last boss and didn’t get any time bonuses for it (I was on this bear as a tank and he was on his alt and it just took too long).

It’s kind of lame to be forced to not to take epic powers, because epic powers are often strong and fun, but I suppose it “raises the challenge” in a sense, a form of dynamic difficulty if you want to get those prestige awards once Adamant Vaults is accessible. Players who only want their 4-gem to get their soul cinders can neglect some of these score modifiers and be fine, so more casual players will get their legendaries, whereas the prestige rewards will be actual prestige rewards (at least for the patch, until we get more ilvl inflation in 9.2, haha).

The issue is that I play as resto, so I’m not sure I’m gonna be able to melt the last boss without any purple powers xD
I’ll still give it a try anyway

yeah, i had the same problem last night and kept whining about it. I’m a completionist in Torghast and always have been. i can believe that maybe i missed a single urn on one floor… but one urn on EVERY floor? nah

Well, I think I break almost every rule.

Bosses take forever.
Elites take forever
Im taking epics and spending phantasm
I use empower on floor boss
I double up powers especially HP and mastery

If this is true, then my hatred of the system just got worse.

They said you could keep doing Torghast like we did before and get a near perfect score.

This right here, if accurate, is proof positive of a lie. You can’t actually run it how you want if you wish to proceed to higher floors. You can clear every mob and urn and boss without dying and do so in a timely manner (i.e. not 20+ minutes per floor), and still not get a high enough score to unlock the next layers.
