Anyone else keep getting Dc’d? I can’t get out of the loading screen. When i log out and log back in, it keeps saying “a character with that name already exists”.

Just happened to me trying to load into a FH

Exit game, restart computer, delete cache folder in the retail folder, start up Bnet, give it a sec to make sure there’s no updates, try to log in again.
If it still doesn’t work, try logging into a different character.

you’re lucky I can’t even get to my character list without being DCed so i’m taking a break from WoW today rather than letting it drive me crazy. Blizzard is supposedly being hit by a DDoS attack today so… yeah I’ll figure out other plans lol

I’m not seeing anything on the launcher or Twitter?
They may of taken down the post idk I just saw a wowhead post on facebook claiming blizzard servers suffering a DDoS

Past two days have had that. Might have been from earlier this morning. It’s been cleared up since, as far as I know.
well i’m still being DCed the second I log in then told I gotta wait in a queue so… sticking with my day off from the game either way. Going to consider it a good mental health day if anything lol

Yea i tried all of that, and apparently my guildies are also experiencing the same lol
I wonder if it’s a certain provider or area. I exited and came back a bit later and didn’t have an issue. Maybe one of the service providers went bonkers.

yes, myself and some friends kept getting DC’ed in our last key, and we have extremely long load screens trying to hearth to valdrakken.

If it’s a specific character, it can. When I wrote the post, I assumed it was one character, not a server issue. Calm down.

Having the same issue aswell. Keep disconnecting in dungeons. It has never happened before. Then when i try to get back in it says character already exists. This also wasnt happening when they were having their ddos attack so its either new with the patch or they are getting a new attack. Didnt have any issues till today.
Wrong, you didn’t understand it isn’t a character problem. In fact, it almost never is.
