I might be trippin but don’t the ruins on Karesh (the dilapidated buildings and wreckage, not the high tech domes) kinda look like the Azshari ruins in Nazjatar?
What if the ethereals original forms god knows how long ago were similar to troll/harranir/elven folk? What if their cavemen worshipped Elune? The destruction was so long ago they don’t even remember what is it like to have a body, much less what they looked like
If that’s so, one could draw a parallel between the elves and the old gods. What if night elves are to Elune what old gods are to void lords? Agents of a cosmic entity planted in every corner of the galaxy to carry out her will

There is no karesh, they made a theme park in Outland
Same as Shadowland since the heart reacted to that Maw thing.
You can’t go through a portal and tada a dead planet across the galaxy when Medivh had to build the whole Dark Poetal for that
They distracting you from real threats to Azeroth. That’s why it’s called the war within. There is a war on for your mind
I think it’s more likely that there are just a finite number of ways to draw a building and there’s always going to be some overlap.

I think none of this is even a potentiality, but I do think …
… I’ll pause and highlight that I think the art team pretty much always hits it out of the park, so I don’t want this to come across as trashing them as they have long been perhaps the most dependable aspect of this game for literal decades …
… but I do think architecture design since The Seat of the Pantheon/The Burning Throne in Legion has started looking similar enough that someone always tries to draw connections between them.
