Karesh so far

The zone is perhaps desolate but the skybox and the music is astounding and astonishing at the same time.

The story so far is so much more interesting and entertaining than what came before it. But, that just me personally but if there are some of you that follows my taste then nice otherwise oh well.

The overall zone is so much more open than say what came before and not crowded with mobs and more open spaces in between and more “safe zones”.

it’s a cool zone, but a lot of reused assets. great zone to be a druid in.

I’m just happy we aren’t in goblin land anymore

I was a hater going into this patch, but this zone is way way better than I expected.

Netherstorm was better.

Zone isn’t bad - the quest line is trash (as in a broken mess).

I’ve had to relog over and over to get the next stage or quest or NPC or whatever to complete.

Also just amazed by it. The whole theme is fantastic. Was terribly bored most of TWW even in the very beginning, but for me this was worth waiting for. Kudos art team once again.

I like big open zones, and the first time I flew into one one of the biodomes I was blown away. Updated Netherstorm 10/10.

i like it too, hated undermine. i realize that’s a subjective thing. i’d much rather hang out with locus walker, alleria, and xal’atath than the goblins. i’m more invested in the story being told. glad to be in a nice open air zone again and not caves or underground. i’m pretty excited for the raid.

Agreed. I think it’s a really great zone and aside from a single dungeon something new that we get to see and do that doesn’t involve trash heaps and really bad New Jersey accents. I’m looking forward to it. Then again, I know the first two posters post history so I’m not really concerned with their opinions.

The white sand is blinding. I’ve adjusted my brightness and color and contrast, but it was still a strain on my eyes. Every time I came across the void glass it was a relief.

Meh, karesh just reads as a shadowlands zone they didn’t add in and just reskinned it to be all void themed. Similar to the siren isles it feels like for these patches they just recycled a lot of scrapped content. Which in all honesty is fine, but it definitely has been an interesting experience.

Yeah, it’s nice, just not as unique as Netherstorm was imho.

It feels really close to Argus, just with no fel vibes and able to fly there.

Lots of jagged rocks for sure.

Anyone who thinks this zone is a shadowlands zone needs to get their head checked fr.

I didn’t read every single syllable of text, but did they explain why Tazavesh is now hovering around the three remaining platforms of Kareshi terrain and not like… in the totally distinct slip-stream of reality completely isolated from the rest of creation like it was in SL

Why? It thematically fits in extremely well design wise. In fact it pulls lore wise a lot of from shadowlands with the inclusion of venari, the maw, and tazavesh. It’s not a stretch at all to say it could be a shadowlands zone because it 100% could have been.

It’s not a bad thing at all, just very interesting to see.

Something something Brokers are Ethereals that somehow survived long enough in the afterlife to bind themselves in stronger containment suits…something something spent a metric ton of anima to get back to K’aresh something something… dark side of The Force.

I do appreciate that they just threw their hands in the air with the Brokers and said fine. Whatever. Yeah, they’re the same thing.

They were always self-plagiarism. Of all the things to do twice they picked the Etherials.

I haven’t started any of the quests yet but I’m at the flight path looking at K’aresh before I fly to it. Absolutely beautiful
