I thought I had finally done it and won the fishing derby. I caught the Blacktip shark and hearthed at 2:05 server. I was the first one at the NPC location… but the NPC was nowhere to be found. By 2:15 server, a few more people had gathered around the location and he still didn’t spawn. We even layered and looked on every server layer but he didn’t exist. This is extremely disappointing… I’ve been trying to do this quest since wotlk released and I guess a bug now stopped me from finally completing it. Shame.

Same here on Atiesh. They had the same issue on EU servers. Apparently they tried to fix the announcement that the fishing derby has started and ended but broke the NPC
