So since Whitemane/herod got layers back servers like Arugal and Faerlina have had to suffer with 1-2+ hour ques every night. Idk about the other servers but we had pretty decent que times when we were locked and no transfers allowed. Then we got unlocked and alot of lets say “new” accounts came back that seem almost to be non player controlled most of the time.
I think that for servers like Arugal and Faerlina (not sure if others) with fairly large que times, they are almost on the same boat as what whitemane/herod were where layers were added to let them play the game without fear of getting dc’d and put back in a que. Which when a que starts makes the ques even worse because now everyone sits afk all day trying to not get dcd so they can play when they want.
I get theres alot of threads and I get theres probably alot on your guys plates, but over a week of huge ques that keep getting bigger with no response to the communites of players on those servers is kinda sad. The option shouldnt be “just transfer off” or “you knew what you were signing up for” when servers with similar issues have a temporary fix currently in for the issues we are experiencing, and I can’t see why its not being deployed for everyone with the huge ques versus only 2 realms.
If it was a 15-30 min que I wouldnt be as upset but when its like 30+ (over an hour or 2 now) that’s when im like uhh ok. If layers were disabled on every realm and it was a “just deal with it” thing thats another story. But its not and theres currently something that can be done.
If we can get a response or an update to help people know if you guys are at least aware of the large ques on our servers and if theres a possible answer soon or whats going on would be appreciated.

I can see it now: “You’re right so let’s just disable layering on all servers”
Hey man it is what it is, but it cant be a one way street where they want people to be able to log on and play, but when others ask for the same help it falls on deaf ears.
That’s a good point, I just think people really enjoy resorting to the “this is your fault for rolling on the server” and they want you to be punished for it.
At least, that’s my experience.
100% Agree, and especially during these times people should just be able to sit down and play the game and relax.
If it’s good enough for herod and whitemane, its good enough for the others. Don’t layer two servers and neglect the rest.

Yea hoping we could get a response because its not just 1 server with huge ques its multiple and it should be something easy to do for these servers.

They’re aware, just like they were with black lotus. Responding before they actually have something to say will just cause a tidal wave of complaining and demands.
What do they have to say though except we’ve layered these realms?
Queues on Arugal are 3-4 hours now, just give us layers so we dont have to log in at 3pm to raid at 7:30.

Exactly we are at 2+ hour ques, with dmf week coming up itll be 3 hour + while these realms with layers get to have instant log ins =/. A simple fix honestly for so many people.
You know that Herod and Whitemane aren’t even the most ACTIVE servers, meaning the queues wouldn’t be higher than arugal… Like how dumb does blizzard have to be?
I’ll say it again
At release, Arugal was the ONLY PVP SERVER FOR OCEANIC
That’s why there’s so many people who don’t want to transfer off. We started there, it was the only option, and our guilds/friends are all on it.

I agree im saying theres more then just the 2 servers that need layering its bad at this point. No one should have to wait 30m or more to just log in and play. Especially cause of the botting issue taking up a massive amount of slots on each server.

1-2 hours for Arugal is not accurate, it is more like 2-4 hours
That’s all well and good but you can guarantee that complaints will flood in again within a few hours, once the queues pick back up for the night.

Actually, I’m guessing at this point whoever has the unfortunate job of reading through these forums cares as much about what the players think as they do about the crud under their fingernails. Any sane person who has been following this topic of layers vs. queues would have to assume classic WoW must be played by a pack of crazed poo flinging chimpanzees who charge hysterically from one moment of rage to another trying impotently to revive a 15 year old addiction by firmly denying the realities of the present.

Honestly couldn’t care less if it’s #nochanges or #morechanges I just like to be able to play the game. Blizzard made the mistake of letting servers become overpopulated. Blizzard made the mistake of starting with only one OCE PVP server. I haven’t and wont complain about any other changes they make. But I complain about not being able to play. Also I never played 15 years ago. I enjoy the game as it is now, when I can get on to enjoy it.

Preach it
bump the hell out of this thread. Only adding layering to Whitemane and Herod, but not the other servers with large queues is mind boggling. How out of touch are they?

I agree. Once a server hits a megaqueue it should probably be a megaserver.
I’m sorry that Blizzard hasn’t helped you guys out yet, but they chronically like to waste time for that transfer cash grab.
