So I just came back and re-watched the undermine epilogue cinematic and the new datamined 1.1.7 xal story and lorewalking stuff ( “arthas ?? Icecrown?” Interesting stuff…. So are we going to K’aresh cuz of that rogue ethereal stealing the dark heart and the end frame shows a giant planet sized world and in the middle a swirling void magic shattering it or swimming in the middle…

Although there could be some real trouble writing such as a situation for War Within if the steaks from the Ethereals are better or worse than if Xal’atath has the Dark Heart. And Xal’atath is plenty evil.

Xal’atath allies with us, reasoning that it’s better to risk her maguffin being destroyed than have it in Locus-Walker’s hands.
We work with her, both sides knowing that the other will make a grab the moment this threat is handled.
She provides the expansion’s legendary: boots (that are invisible)
