If someone Im running with makes it known then so be it. If they don’t same applies for me.

In Wrath I was playing an undead spriest and was doing Trial of the Crusader with my guild. Raid leader called for a ready check over vent and as soon as I spoke the entire channel goes dead silent. “Wait, who’s the chick?” XD My guild was cool so there wasn’t anything weird about it, just a funny moment.

It most definitely is (that she feels that way. She shouldn’t have to). Although, I have not encountered the nonsense that I used to, when the game was newer, I suppose it may still be out there.
I think it helps now that women in gaming is more common place, than it used to be. Also might help to put any verbal schmucks in their place, quickly and with much vehemence. Tolerate the nonsense, and it just get worse. Nip it in the bud, right when it starts.

I’m a male player that has an equal amount of male and female toons. Basically 1 of each Alliance race (24 characters total). They all have different emotes, animations and voice lines.
However, in all the guilds I’ve been in and out of in the past, a great many deal of them were woman players. It’s great, keep it up ladies!
I was born a female and damn proud of it.
The only two times I wonder if a male is playing a female character is when I see atrocious transmog. It’s super obvious to the point of being funny lol.
And when I see one who is has nothing on, but her underwear and the guy is asking for gold. That’s super obvious as well. lol
