Yeah, “I’ve seen it all” continues to remain untrue.
A boomy was throwing off-heals to help a healer who was…struggling to say the least. I guess the healer noticed this because they started to eviscerate the boomy for healing instead of DPS’ing the entire time. Boomy responded “whatever I won’t help you heal anymore”.
Next boss…we wipe. Healer went on a tirade that ended up with “kick [name of the boomy] or you can find another healer”. Votekick went up with “i can do my own job thanks” as the reason and somehow it got 3 votes. A new DPS showed up, we wiped again and I just ended up leaving.
I don’t get this “don’t heal as DPS” drama, but it’s spread into TIMEWALKING of all things and it’s…yeah.

I would of juat kicked the healer. Sounded like a toxic butthole. Would of taken a sec or so to get a new one

Why do people feel the need to come to forums to tell the rare dungeon mishap. Seen a good number of these threads lately. I get the M+ discussions, but leveling, time walking, normal dungeons of any sort. It’s just rare that things fall apart as people claim.

I’ve, on very rare occasions, been called out for using my free heal after 4 Holy Power abilities. Some people are just that stickler.

Really? I love it when im a healer and people heal themself. Less work for me (and i can dps a bit) and if people start getting hurt to much (overpull, standing on bad stiff, etc) i know i can spread out my healing more caz people can heal themself for a bit

Yeah, it’s weird, but some people seem to think DPS should only DPS and absolutely nothing else. Though I always get a whisper from the healers thanking me for keeping myself healed up a bit. It’s just become a reflex for me to hit my free instant cast FoL when my health drops below 50%

If true then that healer is a douche. Whenever i used to take my healers into 5mans i was thrilled if someone helped a bit on healing, especially when we’d end up with tanks bumb rushing dungeons then getting mad because we couldn’t keep up.

It’s a mixture of 1) people who have legitimate brain worms and 2) people who are too busy watching Netflix (or SpicyTube) and who really aren’t paying attention and who just click “yes” because they don’t really care or know any better.
Remember, folks: mobs aren’t your enemy. Players are.

I see what you did there… and I had a good chuckle.
Many years ago I was leveling my Priest as Shadow and was doing a low level dungeon with some randoms. I would occasionally pop a shield on the tank or something like that, and the healer of the group got all bothered by it…whispering me all angry saying to stop doing what I was doing, the tank was fine without my help, etc. But that was once…quite a long time ago. I don’t know that I’d call it a “problem” that’s widespread or anything, though.

I saw a Druid tank get kicked from TW yesterday. His “crime”? He was only pulling 1 pack at a time instead of the whole room like the pugs were asking for (semi-premade of 3 guildies)
The little vote-to-kick UI prompt simply said “DUMB” and the vote passed almost instantly
