Hey guys, just wanted to let everybody know that we have just released a large update to our site and addon ‘Classic Guild Bank’. The site can now track deposits and withdrawals.
For those of you who are unfamilar, Classic Guild Bank is a free site that allows you to keep track of a guilds inventory and share that information with members. We have an addon that reads a characters personal and bank inventory in game and generates an export string. That string can then be imported into our site which will diplay the data in a readable format with filtering and sorting etc. If you are currently using a spreadsheet to manage your guilds inventory you should definitely check us out.
As I mentioned the deposit and withdrawal tracking functionality just went live. For deposits our addon adds a button to the in game mailbox. Using this button adds a UID to the mail subject that automatically gets processed when person who receives it opens their mailbox. Next time they generate the export string it will include all the deposits that have not been exported yet. These will then show up on our site on the transactions tab.
The withdrawal tracking happens entirely on our site. We have a view that allows you to select items within the guilds inventory and create a withdrawal request. This request then can be approved/disapproved. Once approved the withdrawal gets added to the same view as deposits I mentioned earlier.
