Yeah I love the perfectly normal looking yeti mount for getting 500 mounts. At last I finally filled the collection with the most basic looking yeti worthy of the likes of these green hawk striders. And best of all!!! I get to use it while exploring these Dragon Isles!

Unfortunately the greater community disagreed and now the beloved yeti is gone perhaps forever. Let us hope that the soul eater finally makes an appearance for us non pvp plebeians.

my monies on the caterpillar mount from the survey a while back, I think it’s the only one that hasn’t been added.
EDIT: just looked it up, there’s also the nerubian swarmer.
At least it’s not another red dragonhawk.
Blizzard already said they will change to another mount, after players negative feedback.

Still not convinced that the mount’s gonna be used by many people regardless of what it is. I’ve already got my Voidtalon, and nothing that’s been added to the game since I got it has been cool enough to make me want to swap it out. The 350 and 400 mount rewards were just checkmarks for me to complete, and this 500 one will be the same. I know I’m not gonna be the only one.
I didn’t care that we were getting a yeti, I’m upset we’re only getting one achievement while dumb pet collecting gets 4.
We should have a 550 and 600 too.

Not only did the pet collectors get 4, they also can’t complete some of them yet as its actually impossible to collect that many unique pets currently
