Just say NO to frying!

I’ve actually started to like it more than just frying stuff, because I personally don’t love a ton of grease in my food. I always find myself dabbing at stuff with napkins so it’s not soaking with oil, because that kind of ruins the crispiness of it sometimes when it’s SO wet. Then there’s that nauseating occurrence where the oil temp was too low and the thing is just…logged with oil, just saturated with it and it’s like a mouthfull of soggy grease.

Thank god for air fryers.

Not if one is living the KETO diet. all the meat n fat ya want, just few carbs.

Which means bacon n butter as much as ya want

maybe some coconut oil n butter in bullet proof coffee.

I too dab excess oil off anything fried. You are right, too much just ruins whatever it is you are eating.

Isn’t that the same as the atkins diet?

Tried it once. Dropped a ton of weight and slowly but surely put it back on though.

Similar, but also impacts heart patients like my brother with the artificial heart valve, and type 2 diabetics.

Worth a youtube google if ya have any interest. Stick in diabetes as part of your google fu and watch the ones by the doctors instead of “diet gurus”

And yep, weight just melts off to your optimal weight.

It isn’t so much a diet as adapting your life to eating KETO for the rest of your life.

Oh, and eat all the nuts ya want too.

I find ground almonds (in coffee grinder) and using that as bredding with a bit of lemon drizzled on chicken or fish is pretty good.

and everything is always abetter with bacon on it.

It’s bugging me so I’m gonna ask to please stress that you should be eating HEALTHY fats and nuts with this diet. Avocados & avocado oil are good fats as well as olive oil. Bacon is not and never will be remotely healthy. Also, lean cuts of meats (especially red meats, which, really aren’t that great for you).

Same with the nuts- chia, flaxseed, almonds & cashews are some of the healthier nuts. You should still avoid pecans and macadamia nuts as they are the unhealthiest nuts. Walnuts and peanuts are also okay though nut butters are generally filled with sugars & unnecessary fats.

Meat in almost every form is pretty awful for you. Animal fat is especially terrible. Hours after you consume meat, your body initiates an inflammatory response.

Fats from plants are gr8 though, as long as you’re not consuming too many calories.

Properly grilled chicken is AMAZING. Boiled chicken sounds very English to my ignorant mind.

1 hour versus 5min. Lord jesus there’s a fire. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Oil makes everything you top it with juuuuust fine.

Sure didn’t say no to the fried chicken i had for dinner, or the mashed potatoes, or the mac n cheese.

Also I cook for a living, and make all three of these regularly, so you know it was good. And not healthy. Like really REALLY not healthy. But worth every bite.

Allowing other NPCs to fry for us is NOT going to cut it. I want to control my frying.

I’m not the smartest man in the world but if you put oil on something and then add heat, how is that not frying?

Not even on cheat days. Too much saturated fat. Just asking for alzheimers.

Has there been an official ruling on deep fried pizza?

What about a cheeseburger inside of french fries? And then deepfry all of it together?
