Just say NO to frying!

What about tempura? Is vegetable tempura ok?

It’s really surprising how much just cutting soda does. It’s a lot worse for you than people realize.

You’ll get there man. Just takes patience and some work!

Thing is that I am not really trying and I honestly do not see a real reason to. People said to exercise to I can drop to 170 easily… but I don’t want to be 150-170 I don’t look or feel healthy when I am that skinny. Quite honestly when I was in that smal in my early 20’s I looked like I was on m*th. I don’t ever want to be that small again. I want to enjoy things like fried food, pizza, greasy nachos, great beer. a Jucy Lucy Burger! so my over all goal is really between 190-210.

The most important thing is to maintain a weight that you feel good at and otherwise do what makes you happy.

Like, I feel best at 170-180 so that’s what I maintain.

Jucy Lucy sounds good right now… but it was wing Tuesday. May have to sub wings for one next week. lmao

But, how am I going to garnish my boiled potatoes w/o my fried ones?

Anything in excess is bad for us. Ideally we ought to aim for moderation and balance to get the best results.

Of course if life doesn’t really give us options. People will do what they must to survive.

In the end we all cease to exist at one point or another. So enjoy what moments we do have.

Air frying is the solution to this. I’m air frying some vegan chik’n patties rn, pretty hyped for it.

That’s gross.

I already can’t have anything fried due to stomach problems.

Don’t do either! Cut the potatoes into thick fries, wash & drain well. Toss in a mixing bowl with a bit of olive oil, garlic salt & basil. Place on a single layer cookie sheet, bake at 350 degrees for a half hour, flip and bake another half hour. Delicious, roasted alternative.

I love it for like, crispy frozen items, like these patties or nuggets or whatever. I’ve put frozen hushpuppies in there and it was awesome. It’s pretty incredible how well it crisps up and how easy it is just to shove things in there.

I do like them roasted too. Damn. Now I am really hungry.

I’ve given up on processed foods in order to lose my high body fat. Sticking to a meal plan as well. No more fried foods for me.

Even if they are tasty.

Also… just say NO to air fryers. They’re freaken convection ovens… if you’re going to fry something then fry it.

YES. I got one for Christmas and it is freaking awesome. We use ours for tater tots, burritos, pizza rolls, waffles (basically anything frozen, including frozen lasagna). I even made hamburger steak in it once but we eat a lot of chicken and outside nuggets I’ve not tried any chicken in there.

we made home made fried chicken with ours… it was messy to make but its sooooo good.

try this.

  • Pre-heat the Air Fryer to 390 degrees.
  • Whisk together the flour, salt and the Old Bay.
  • Dredge the chicken through the flour mixture, then into the egg, then back into the flour mixture again. Shake off excess flour very well.
  • Place the 4 chicken thighs into the bottom of the AirFryer cooking compartment. Cook for 25 minutes or until the chicken reaches 180 degrees.
  • Remove and serve.

This was the first recipe i googled since I don’t have my wife’s recipe book available. So experiment a little.

My wife recently got one of those things. I laughed at it. Then she made cheese sticks. I full endorse those machines now.
