No. You making these outrageous claims are nonsense. “Yeah we’ll I carry people” so you and others are putting in more effort then others. Effort is still attached. You are being disingenuous with this ‘rebuttal’.
So now anyone who cannot do it is stupid?
That’s like saying because I can make X amount of money per year, everyone should be able to. It’s easy!
How to gear up past 252.
Fated LFR will award 265-272 ilvl
Honor gear ranks up to 268 in PVE
You can buy tier with relics that are now account-bound.
Low keys (Litraly 2s) reward 262 drops and 278 vult
You can buy/craft Legos for at 291 ilvl
and you can still buy/craft one piece of crafted gear at 262 ilvl
I consider all of the above fairly casual content.
If we can 2 chest +15’s with my Monk as top DPS and Top heals with 4 240 ilevel players, than the OP at 252 can as well.
Two chesting is putting in effort to obtain that reward. You obtaining it required that effort.
Id love to see a vid of that this week with necrotic. Yes some classes can solo 20’s but they are not doing it in time.
It takes time, but time expenditure doesn’t necessarily equate to ‘hardcore’. I’m older than your friend Carol - I don’t have 50 level 60 toons but I have a fair few, with many of them having maxed out almost complete professions, along with things like 426 total mounts, 1065 unique battle pets, 22,195 Achievement points (which I continue to work on increasing) and I haven’t paid a penny to Blizzard in over 3 years, paying for my sub with my ingame gold.
I do that all easily happily but I cannot raid anymore. I can’t handle the stress of a high level of play over an extended time, either physically or emotionally. Tht’s sad, because I adored raiding as a younger player but I just can’t now. So I do not consider myself ‘hardcore’ just because I play extensively and almost entirely socially/casually.
I get that a lot of things are subjective, and obviously my perception of it is coloured by my subjective gameplay. But I just cant logically grok the idea of hardcore being anything but actual gameplay combat-based hardcore.
Alright - backing up - so, for people that have the time to LFR for a full clear… how can the community help you achieve the same for Regular difficulty?
To me, you’re a hardcore player. You have done well above and beyond what I could ever do, mostly with my limited time and I envy you. I seriously do, I have mad respect for people who invest time into other aspects of the game. Because none of that can be done easily.
Im not speaking for myself in these threads. I’ll be getting the mount regardless. I’ll attempt normal pugs (I’d prefer to do it on LFR). Have to figure out what role it’d be easiest to pug it. If I cannot pug it, I’lll ask one of my boosters their prices and work it out from there.
But in these threads I’m talking about the folks who for whatever reason cannot progress past LFR. And Blizzard needs to stop leaving these players behind.
Yeah, not really interested in something I can’t just do casually through the week with my lfr and cypher gear. I was subbed to see what the hubbub was about, but if there’s no reason to do lfr there’s no reason for me to be here. Unsubbed, see you folks in five months maybe.
If Wowgrandma can get aotc/KSM on 4 toons, then the problem isn’t blizzard to figure out. It’s the players problem. If you can’t get past LFR, then that should be a sign that you need to figure out how to improve.
Is the goal to get past LFR?
What if someone’s goal is LFR? Is that wrong?
In what way are they being left behind, exactly? The slime cat mount is a cosmetic item. Just like the top tier armor appearance is - and this is usually way better looking than the LFR version.
I get wanting the better stuff - heck, that’s why when we actually came across the opportunity to raid I decided I wanted to be involved. Even if it weren’t for the mount I’d have made that decision… but that’s me. I do wish folks luck achieving what they want.
That’s fine but you wrote: But in these threads I’m talking about the folks who for whatever reason cannot progress past LFR. And Blizzard needs to stop leaving these players behind.
And LFR just requires you to queue up and move your character to the fire and die, wait and collect loot. Truthfully normal is like that too. The difference for heroic is, only about 1/3 of the raid can die early, the other 50% need to be auto attacking with the remaining 15% doing the mechanics.
I want the CE Title but I don’t have the time to invest into the game. That’s a me problem, not a blizzard problem.
“Casual” has no agreed upon meaning.
what gets done when 4 people afk? You are trashing your stand point every time you post. coming across like you’re some vastly better person/player. This high and mighty posture you take flies in the face of everything relaxed and casual. Casual isnt “Im the best cause i cram 2 dozen m+ and 10 carrries and progression into 12 hours, and we do it while everyone is afk”.
Sounds more like you’re actually alot more hardcore than you realise and thats nothing at all against you. If you smash out that much content in such a short time, i mean, good, you are a good player. You have nothing to worry about, even more so if some low tier green cat that apparently came second in a community vote became available to the maximum amount of community members.
I’d just like to add, you mentioned how you have a specific level that you wont invite below, yet you are posting in a topic called “just run normal” which is aimed at people who only do lfr or world content - which doesnt reach a total ilvl that you set out. So why are you here? If you are by your own standards not going to bring anyone into a raid unless they pay you… oooooh i see. So all them claims of “this is only for boosters” starts to make sense?
You know what forget LFR and normal and heroic and mythic raids I hope one day they all be discontinued and actually make good content for the overworld.
By running your own M+ key, finding a guild, or making friends. Check communities too. You have SO MANY options yet you don’t use them OP.
never gonna happen. WoW isn’t for you.
