I realized there’s no way I can catch up to do even mythic 10’s at this point the way gear is so stingy. They designed this game for boosters to run things it’s crazy.

You’re sitting at 235 ilvl. Just keep doing ZM dailies to get cyphers to upgrade your gear in the zone. You will be getting 252 ilvl gear in no time in the zone. That’s Equivalent to the gear that drops in +8s and +9s. You guys are so damn silly.

I carried a guildy in a 15 yesterday.
Find some mates in game and you can get into stuff easily
And uninronically they take less time to deal and are less boring than leveling in classic.

the fun is indeed behind the gates. but most the gates at this point are not of the time sensitive ones. its the simple do the thing to gain progress type of gate. and thats basically expected in ANY game. there are tons of catch up systems built into the game. all you need is a few M+ tier slot items or pvp tier slot conquest items and you can instantly have a 2 set bonus with a small conversion. the cost of which is easily covered by doing content. you can get lego mats simply by unlocking it off the rep vendor. its no longer grind for 12 hours.
M+ or pvp items because those can be upgraded so not a waste putting it on a lower ilvl

what is silly is grinding dailys to get gear so you can participate in the game at an entry level status
even if I dont want to do PvE, I still need double leggos, and reknown, and endless timeline content completion, just to log in and compete in the PvP aspect of the game
the question wasnt , how do I get gear and not pay for carries, it was “where did the fun go?”

Blame no-lifers. If the entire game were available in the first week, all these dweebs would have everything maxed out and face rolling you in PVP, which causes you to have no life and burn through the content. Before you know it, Blizzard has to hold onto subs for 7 months with content everyone finished in 1.

Dont worry, they are fixing the game in Dragonflight
unless you are willing to pay gold exchanged from tokens bought with real money for max ilvl leggos, that you still need to do endless amounts of PvE content for, you will not succeed against those who are
you still need renown for PvP gear upgrades, you cant get epic lvl PvP gear without doing rated pvp, and minus the leggo bonuses, you wont be having much “fun”
