Well if I read correctly (my bad English not my first language) - he’s talking past tense, in the old system which was far more competitive, where caps weren’t fixed at 500k and HPH actually mattered.
In this current system, you just have to get 500k, it’s not a race, it’s not a competition, it’s not about efficiency, it’s about effort. If I am ranking in this system, I am 100% half afk AV while working.

They didn’t change wsg hph so you are contradicting yourself. Either you’re right and AV is better hph or lazarak is right and wsg is better hph and since he has told me he is a real pvper and is in the real pvp discord (huge flex) I am leaning towards he’s right. Which begs the question: why aren’t the real pvpers queueing wsg?

WSG HPH isn’t just determined by blizzard and how much honor is awarded per objective. It’s more so the player base wouldn’t you say?
I have said repeatedly under this current ranking system with this current era ranker player base, AV is better honor per effort, which is what matters currently. It’s not about how much honor you can get, it’s about how can I get to 500k with the least amount of effort possible, and that is AV.
For the average person, sure. That doesn’t explain why real pvpers aren’t queueing wsg. These are the elite players not solo queue scrubs. Did you know lazarak for example is in a discord full of real pvpers?

You plucked this from a previous thread where I said finding groups just takes joining a pvp discord. Thats generally what theyre for - but theres no need for that atm in this gen

Vicious circle of players not queueing due to:
a) quality of games
b) other versions of the game (ie. twinks)
c) ranking - AV better in this current ranking system
d) no characters on era and cba levelling
e) no games, no pop, ppl get bored log off, perpetuates the ripple effect of people wanting to spend their time doing something else etc.
Please blizzard just bring back PTR ERA but no dust plz ty (see you all there!)
In regards to the old system, there was a specific pattern that followed literally every server and rank ever.
From the beginning - PvP system launches:
Honor launches/bgs. PvE ppl spam AV to get exalted (pvp people take these qs)
-AV bloats the q as dominant bg
PvE ppl finish rep, AV q bloat slows down, gets smaller. As this happens, wsg and av pop more from “weave que”
This trend #2 continues and slowly snowballs to 3 decent BG pops
In old system, wsg and ab get enough ques to start seeing full teams or strong partials. (this is when the strongest teams start producing 15-25k hph - more on weekends)
Due to point number 4, AV qs diminish due to AVs baseline low hph compared to what people winning the other BG can produce
Meta is now wsg/ab, av dies until weekends due to low hph
Anyways, thats why “real pvpers” would care for the meta. However, in this system, BG meta cannot be moved by people producing big hph. So you must instead wait for the current batch of rankers to finish in order for those BGs to pop again

Some of them never played? Some of them stopped playing for the reasons above? and dude lets be honest the amount of ppl posting on here that don’t even play is probably pretty damn high.
You literally answered your own question - ppl don’t queue cuz x,y,z and then basically causes exodus. Maybe honestly it’s a question of premades wanting to farm pugs, to motivate people to queue vs them as a stack, which is what made me and my friends queue up when horde was running a 10-man and we were coordinating to play vs them for fun.

I have no idea what you’re trying to say here. The real pvpers from the real pvp discord could queue multiple games at once and the quality of game would be very high because they’re real pvpers.

Of normal players - I already admitted that. Normal players don’t want to play wsg because it’s garbage hph when you’re not in a premade. I’m not interested in the reasons and doings of normal players. I want to know why the REAL pvpers aren’t queueing wsg.
