Did you … wanna answer any of the questions I posed in regards to your point, then? Or nah?
I’m really interested in this since I can mog stuff I earned on my Pally on my Warrior right now.
Yes I spend a lot of time dressing up my DH like my rogue and vice versa, so this whole “classes need to look like classes” thing seems like an odd direction to come at this argument from.
After all the store mogs, none of it makes sense.
It’s alright. I was told earlier that my example of priest in plate was “cloth with armor on it”, and that my example of a warrior in cloth was “armor with cloth under it.”
There’s no winning. Absolutely none other than to make the demand heard.
I saw that lol. Got a laugh out of me ngl.
I think it’s a very emotional argument for some people, so it’s hard for them to see why the logic doesn’t really track for those of us who aren’t that bothered and just wanna play dress-up.
None of your questions are about my point. That’s what you are failing to understand. My point is that warriors should NOT look like priests, or vice versa.
Warriors and paladins looking like each other is fine, because those classes are SIMILAR in nature. Warriors and priests couldn’t be more opposite on the spectrum – which is why your request will always be rejected.
Do you understand that now or do you need me to explain it further to you?
I also hate when I do instances and there are things that aren’t unlocked, but I have to then mail it to an alt to unlock it to use it. Just make it unlockable on everyone. The extra step is just a bother and doesn’t help preserve any sort of immersion.
Too bad, so sad I can already do this with some looks. Maybe stick to the fossil that is Classic if you want that.
And I have none of the utility of my Paladin. If someone looked at me at a glance and thought I was a Pally, they’d be in for a bad time in any instance. ![]()
What looks can you use as a priest that make you look like a warrior? I will wait for your proof on that.
Orrrr, I can just stick to retail, because what I want is how the game currently is.

Okay but then by this logic priests and paladins should share gear… and by wrap around priests share gear with warriors! Code = cracked; good work, team.
A mage wearing plate but still taking clothie damage just makes no sense.
I disagree with lifting the restrictions.
Not here to argue personally, just my take.
Honestly i whole heartedly agree with you.
I as an Outlaw Rogue would like to walk around with two daggers please and not two short swords or on of each. I just want to use two daggers i earned on my sin.
Also eviey try the old judgment sets, with both pally and warriors can wear, which are mostly robes the only plate looking part is shoulders which i can transmog off sooooo.
You can currently have two tanks next to each other in the same tier appearance. One will take 10x more damage than the other because one is a fresh 60, and the other is ilvl 275.
You can also be in a thong in plate - that has kind of been a staple mog since mog became a thing.
Are you being dumb on purpose? The transmog you can buy that came out with Shadowlands that anyone can wear looks like a Priest set.

There is the set that came with pre-orders:

I can put on this set too:

There’s so many dress options too. Just go through transmog. Stop making people do the work for you because you are so stubborn.
I’d be fine with this.
Well that’s a misuse of the transitive property if i’ve ever seen one. No, that’s not how it works… AT ALL.
Priests do not become paladins because they could, theoritically, look similar to one another. Since they are NOT paladins, they should NOT be able to look like warriors, whereas because PALADINS ARE PALADINS, they can look like warriors.
So the holy paladin healing everyone in the name of the light is the same as the guy with zero magic waving around two two-handers in a rage-fit?
Seems like we’re drawing some pretty arbitrary lines here, IDK …
And the name calling starts where your arguments start to fail. How typical. ![]()
Here’s a tip: that’s not going to convince me, nor blizzard, of any of your points. You just did a great service to my position, so I thank you for that.
Didnt most paladins come from priests though
