I need crests, welping would be helpful. but I’m stuck at 360 /360 seasonal max, and I have 2 in my currency tab.
I’ve yet to collect more then 8 drake quests in total this week, its all been welpings. 162/ 360 drake quests and I’ve got a whole 12 in my currency page since last week.
Blizzard, remove the fluffing cap.
Different crests come from different content, if you aren’t looting drake crests then you aren’t doing things that offer drake crests.
Low the cap on crests, people are getting too greedy
I been running keys. nothing. all I see are whelpings on WQs, and I’m capped with them. my issue is I’ve reached the “seasonal cap”, where I could be using some to get some gear out of the 440’s, but I can’t because its capped. between the dark lords of RNG and the cap I’ve not accomplished anything of an upgrade this week. sure I’ll have an assortment of stuff to choose from in the RNG vault, but I would much rather be able to actually use some of the stuff being offered, instead of just NOT doing some content because its not giving me the reward
Drakes are from Mythic+ dungeon levels 6-10, normal raid, and Seeds.
Screw that. I just want Flightstones! I have plenty of crests for upgrades, but those stones are a rarity now.
Honestly I wish the Achievement that lets you convert lower Crests into higher ones at the 6-1 ratio also gave you the option to trade them for Flightstones. 'Cause I’m finding myself jumping between “I’m capped with nothing to use them on because I’m not getting drops” and “I have stuff I need to upgrade but have none and my only real option to get them is spamming keys.”
And this week since was real fun since I had a bunch of gear in my bags that were huge ilvl upgrades but I couldn’t use them since I had a whole one tier piece from the Vault and Destro’s suggests keeping the Aberrus 4-pc going until you have your Amirdrassil 4-pc. Finally got that and jumped like 20 ilvls.
if you max out on higher crests, the lower ones will drop instead at least in M+
Im capped on everything but I cant dump my aspects to upgrade half my gear that needs it because they still need 1-2 wyrm upgrades and i cant get anymore wyrms.

It’s easier to pug 3-4 more 11-15 keys then it is to get into 16+ key as on off meta spec right now. Even filling my own key took longer than running 2 dungeons at 11-13 level just to get the crests I needed to get my gear that dropped in a +18 out of needing the 11-15 crests.
It’s bad convoluted design with artificial time gates. I would love to play an alt but you know. I’m out here farming crests and flights stones all week so I can upgrade one piece of gear.
