It’s extremely degenerate. All druids do is run around pressing cyclone trying to figure out what 200 IQ strat they’re going to try out next. It’s stupid. And even worse, half the time the druid screws over his own team by cycloning a kill target. That’s honestly most of the reason I want it gone. I get trolled by it when the druid is on my team. The fact that they spam it to try and slow the game down is just a minor annoyance compared to that.
Just get rid of it.
I think cyclone is a fine button and I dont even have any ways to stop it. Spammable cc is one of the biggest ways to create a high skill cap for a class
Never going to happen, unfortunately.
Reminds me of a time that I almost was killed by a warlock in solo shuffle but a druid cyclone saved me from a massive demon bolt. More often than not though I almost never see it used wrong.

I’d personally LOVE to see clone removed or changed and compensated accordingly, but currently it’s spam that button or lose.

Yeah, I personally hate clone, as feral it feels super clunky and doesn’t really feel like it fits feral’s ascetic and play style very well like it does boomy.
But even when I play boomy I hate having to fish for a clone as often as I do. It feels better than feral though because of the reduced cast time from owlkin adept. But still feels horrible as boomy when you’re getting railroaded all match, while fishing for interupts and precog procs.
its more that boomy stacks an insane amount of haste+ starlord+incarnation that talent only takes .1 away
but yeah, it definity feels better on boomkin or Rdruid than feral

I don’t know what they’d give ferals to replace cyclone. And that’s if they’d even give anything in return at this point looking at how they’ve deleted tons of feral PvP talents entirely that it seems to be the balancing theme for feral druids.
Also dislike blood talons, sure it’s up 90% of the time with very little effort just doing our rotation and keeping dots rolling on target(s). But just feels like one more unnecessary mini game to keep track of in the back of your mind, on top of a plethora of other things to keep track of with addons rn.
i played a ton of feral in cata/mop myself and tried it this season for a week wasn’t a fan personally tbf i only gave it a week
It’s strong, and I love ferals dot up hit and run playstyle with the ability to stay in and get some fat bite dam as well. Feral has pretty solid survivability compared to boomy as well. I haven’t really attempted pushing like at all this expac just because the carrot that’s been on the stick is kind of bad this expac imo.
But bloodtalons just feels bad to have to play around for uptime, like it’s not super noticeable because our rotation is still about as fluid as it normally would be, but it’s just enough to have to keep the stacks and tracking for it basically on the peripheral of your vision when there’s already so much crap on the screen from wa’s to dr trackers, to enemy and team cd timers, etc.
Idk bloodtalon’s just feels unnecessary, I don’t think playing feral is rocket science by any means, but it’s already one of the hardest specs in the game to really nail down and master. (Which I do not claim to be a master of the spec.)

dont forget pushback can be also really annoying
in Legion they removed clone and they gave them a high amount of Dmg instead, feral feels also wrong without having a cc/clone maybe give them a Cd on clone and buff the single target dmg/energy regg to compensate it
the thing is, sometimes theres nothing else to do than kiting/cloning because you have no energy and auto attacks aint do anything
Anytime Feral hasn’t taken Cyclone I’ve flat out not played it, it’s that miserable, you just devolve in to an inferior Rogue or a Fury Warrior-esque damage bot. Cyclone is an incredibly based ability.
