Instead of recreating a game for people to enjoy their using us as ginney pigs to see how to change retail WoW. Makes sense with their new Shadowlands stuff having “vanilla” themes/ideas
They don’t post here cause they’re just reading the forum to see what people are saying and don’t want to have an external affect on it
There’s like 1 blue post a month from the same person and 99.9999% of the bug forum goes unanswered (except for paladins)
all they have to do to make retail a hit again is get rid of scaling and warmode while bringing back the class designs from mop. not like they need much testing to bring wow back in line.
I have a feeling that Blizzard just realizes how strong the sense of “Nostalgia” comes into play. Here’s the problem though… Everyone has their different type of nostalgia moments. So, everyone returns to those nostalgia moments just to recreate those experiences but eventually it’ll fade out. Blizzard will have to find out a new way to keep those people intrigued and interested to keep them playing.
I’m pretty sure they’re not talking because it’s late December, and every year they go silent at this time.
They don’t respond because the majority of people on the forums are irrational and any time they do respond people say “BLIZZRD LIES”.

Problem with retail is every expansions is a rinse and repeat scenario with newly colored models and newly colored armors. Heck even in today’s retail their armor skins are either terribly ugly or are new colored versions from previous expansions. They just aren’t even caring anymore.
A good amount of the playerbase in retail spends their time hunting old mounts, and farming xmogs, and they are completely neutering this part of the game. Problem I have with this, is ok fine, do this, but at least give us something else instead, that should be better (since your essentially giving up on piles of content) or at least equally as fun.
TLDR: their entire model is based around, level to cap, gear from new patch content over and over again every patch/raid. Do pathfinder, rinse repeat for next expansion. It’s not an mmorpg anymore. It’s an online role playing game with other people mixed in when you choose them to be mixed in.
I was very upset with the Bluepost about the key rings and how we all thought patch = phase but they didn’t make that distinction until phase 2 dropped.
Actually, as I understand it, THEY’RE developing a new dictionary based game and are using us as GUINEA pigs for “don’t let this happen to us” fodder.
Why do you need blue posts? Vanilla is an old game, there is nothing for them to change.
Maybe they need to be summoned properly.
Like saying the name of the one you want to chat with three times.

Guinea pigs have an awful odor.
Blizz doesn’t talk to us 'cuz there’s nothing to say beyond “here’s your museum, enjoy.” Plus, the only person working om Classic is Chad the Unpaid Intern and he can’t be spending the only hour during the day he’s not on a Starbucks run chatting with you.

I swear I saw an interview with Ion where he said he doesn’t post on the forums because they’re toxic or something and doesn’t give enough constructive feedback.

I’m suspect of anyone that doesn’t see how very toxic some of the players are here towards Blizzard in EVERY single response by a Blue. I was in the post cited. Folks can’t even be happy for 1 day or allow Blizzard to wish them Happy holidays without attacking them relentlessly at EVERY opportunity.
I responded by suggesting they go and find something they enjoy instead of being miserable everyday on Battlenet.
