If you consider the plummeting decline ‘carrying’ then yea. Sure.
Up until the Jailer lore retcon and sylvanas sudden newfound gullibility (basically when steve took over), I usually enjoyed WoW lore. Ignorance is bliss I guess.
First time?
Ya those 400 flying mounts you’re not using would disagree ![]()
I’ve been focusing on quests to get side stories. That’s where the good lore is hiding.
Then don’t make it about gear. Find other ways to have fun in-game.
Welcome to RPGs.
I come here to play a videogame and I dont care if I do it over and over with differing themes. I dont come here for the story. I would buy a book or watch a movie if I want a story.
Who expects a good story on a videogame? The player always wins in the end all the time. That’s corny.
Acting like it was good before Steve took over is quite…well.
As you said.
Ignorance is bliss.
Considering it kept you around for those 15 years I don’t think the loot model is as bad as you claim lol
Damn, its like you figured it all out.
Thats me. Gameplay, challenge, progression… story sux teh eggzors
That took 17 years to figure out?
The better question is we play such games to “pass the time” what we waiting for? We in a hurry for when we dont have anymore time left? So we pass the time to get to the end result?
I’d agree, except I typically don’t collect just to collect. I go after specific things I want, and the rest just comes naturally.
I don’t have nearly the number of mounts, for instance, that the really committed collectors do.
It took you 17 years to figure that out? Really?
I came to this conclusion in TBC.
Stop playing 20 hours a day pushing to min/max BiS in the 1st month of a 6 month season, instead take your time, enjoy the journey, take the upgrades as they come and get to the point of being capped closer to the of the season.
This way you don’t get burnt out.
This way you don’t get bored of content.
This way you don’t instead do the same on multiple alts that then make you loathe the game.
Further, just because there is a Mythic raid or +27 M+ dungeons doesn’t mean you have to be clearing those to enjoy the game.
It’s a figure of speech. You also pass the time with loved ones. Does that mean you don’t actually want to be around them? No
Seventeen year and you just now realized that?
Most people picked up on it after their first patch of their expansion.
