Just realized after 17 years

I realized after thirty plus years that facial moisturizers are real and not a gimmick.

I get just enough gear so I can do what I really like…farming mogs.
the gear itself comes and goes.

I play for the escapism. Loot comes and goes.

The vast majority do, but Guild Wars 2 doesn’t. If you got the best gear 10 years ago, it’s still the best gear. Only reason to get new gear is if you need different stat distribution.

It took you 17 years to figure that out?

Yikes that this took you 17 years.

This is not going to age well at all

What’s the fun in that !?

This is why I only chase cosmetics and make alts.

I have a Hunter of every race.

Congratulations. You’ve unlocked the MMORPG code.

It only took 17 years too.

I figured that out during TBC and decided have fun instead of worrying about BiS.

i play to have a good time with friendos mostly, the gear is just a bonus,.

You’re only just now figuring this out? I figured it out within the first 6 months and therefore became a collector instead. It’s why the collectors of wow are the true lead end game players of wow. Everyone else is just having fun in a temporary sandpit. And that’s fine. We collectors lead the charge though. Everyone else are just along for the ride.

Bwahahaha , at least you found out , some ppl here still deny it

Basically Blizzard takes all the pieces on the table repackages it in a box , then opens the box and places it differently every expansion .

Ppl stop taking the game seriously after this . They reduce the time they put in and just play it for past time

Well you can apply that to almost everything. MOBAs? You’re just playing the same map over and over again. FPS? Just clicking a mouse button and doing the same thing. Pokemon? You’re just catching pixels over and over again. IRL? Go to school, get a job, pay bills, and die.

Ultimately you have to get around things by creating your own goals and meaning.

It’s basically the DarkMoon Faire.

Boy wait until you have your first existential crisis and realize you pretty much do nothing but work in order to survive so you can work more so you can survive and continue doing that until you die.

I’d mind the loot piñata after all these years quite a lot less if they’d stop reusing old dungeons and give us new content to enjoy each season.

Vortex Pinnacle? No thanks. Why would I ever even want to port there?

In all fairness, the story in DF is so bland and bare bones that I myself don’t give a flying frak about it. I try immersing myself into every previous expansions main story at least. Can’t do it for drangonlands. BORING
