I’ve tried playing on my alts and it’s honestly as if i’m being punished.
This patch is just awful, other players may look at this post and be like “oh it’s another negative nancy” well I’m just being completely honest.
8.3 Delayed and Shadowlands release date...other shoe drops if only these poor souls knew what was in store for them in 8.3
My favorite comment from that thread up above " I am fine with them taking longer as long as it is not a dumpster fire like this expansion." LOLOL if only he knew

I have to give it to the people with alts, if you want to min/max, its impossible. Dailies/rares/events/m+ capping/chests for visions/cape visions.
I am a grind type of person, and i only play one toon, so I love this patch. But I do see the people with alts having not so much fun and I understand.

I mean overall put is back into 8.2. New gear is out so of course players are going to want to keep their favorite toons up to date with gear.
My sub expires in march but I’m honestly gonna miss posting on the forums more than playing the game.

Overall, 8.2 is still there. Feel fre to go run Eternal Palace and upgrade your Benthic gear all you like.
8.3 has higher gear so everyone’s going to do that
You and I are the same. I dont mind meaningful grinding but i only play 1 toon. I have literally no idea how some people can stay competitive (at least an ilvl sufficient to do normal and heroic raiding) on multiple alts while also having a normal life (career, social interaction, significant other, family, etc.)

Well then that settles it, don’t put us back in 8.2, obviously there isn’t any demand for that.

If people did what I did with multiple alts, they would have to be doing this as a job (streaming/youtube) cause I barely have time for it as it is on one toon.

8.3 has a amazing raid from the looks of it (cant wait for tuesday) but i can see why you are angry about the grinding and stuff, but besides the cloak, you can still do 8.2 stuff and still gear for raid (only thing would be carapace and nzoth for cloak that would be the issue)
I can’t imagine anyone doing relevant content without the new corrupt gear and a 470 cloak…
Not me. I’m skipping Horrific Visions and that stuff to be honest. I have little ones to work on, pets to collect and other stuff far more fun than those things.
