It doesn’t matter, you pay for it, they are going to do the samething again in the future.
Or you could’ve paid $40 to grind in the next expansion.
It’s an MMO y’know.
Yes, it does matter. There’s a reason why people have been posting these threads over and over and over again, to make Blizz aware of the crap design.
shakes head
Anyway, I have better things to do than to argue through this nonsense.
Have a good day, all.
It said 120 on the box somewhere when I bought BfA… why the H-E- my dudes still 110 when I log in?
Thanx for trying Rhielle sorry you got caught up in this. yall can direct your whatever at me again.
HAHA good luck keep posting it, as long as there people still paying for it they will still do it, doesn’t matter how many people complain about it, we seen this happen all the time.
I don’t think it’s intended to be ground out, but rather passively completed by just playing normally up until Shadowlands. That’s how I completed it, the last few items dropped one day and I was like, “oh, neat”.
Honestly, my only “big” complaint about the quest is that it was not account bound so you had to grind all 40(?) on one character. It still didn’t take very long to do and I pretty much never do content that rewards it (IE open world content or non-m+ dungeons).
they are aware of human behavior it was def intended, only a few or those who just dnt care will passively do the quest. i just got triggered wen i saw it was grindy not the quest itself… im not one of those passive people.
but anways a good example of what im trying to potray here is something like the blood elf heritage armor quest it was long and tedious because i did it on a fresh 120 mage, but i wasnt here raging because it was engaging content that i paid for, a quest is fine what i got with this purchase is not.
Pretty sure you don’t need to pay 80 for it, you don’t need the mount yourself to get the quest. People have been doing it with base SL accounts.
Flash back to BfA preorder, and take the SL approach. Free mounts (must be exalted with z trolls and kul’tiran). Game comes out in 4 months, lol. This was their first go at making people pay extra to do their grinds, it will not be the last. I foresee lots of preorder grinds in the future, because “people must like it, they did it.”
I’m just picturing someone at Blizz yelling
“OP, YOU’VE BEEN BAMBOOZLED!”
It’s disappointing that we are seeing this thrown into the main expansion purchase, right off the rip you have a grind waiting for you…yay.
That’s the direction we’re heading, the fact we are seeing this thrown into the main expansion package suggests they are fine with selling us empty boxes we have to go fill up ourselves.
Good to see you Rhielle, hope you and your family are doing well.
I just paid $0 or 300k gold and just bought the base version of shadowlands. Later, if I want to between now and the release I can THINK about upgrading to the legendary edition for another 300k gold. Blizz ain’t getting my monies.
It may not be your money, but you’re actually giving them more money than just by buying it lol.
Hyperbole. The go to for uninformed complainer.
Research says that this was nerfed anyways… blizz doubled down on this philosophy by bread crumbing you a few each day then nerfing the drop rate by 95% its an atrifcial way of keeping you from it for no reason it doesnt make any sense there is no lore or reason behind it. they did it just because.
A quest for a purely cosmetic transmog IS a feature of the pre-order as is the mount. That’s it.
It didn’t say anything (to my knowledge) of “a legendary quest that will take you to the furthest reaches (and beyond?) of Azeroth. Learn more about her denizens, Azeroth herself, and encounter challenges which will change your very perception of World of Warcraft! Welcome to The Liberation of Gnomeregan part 2: We’re Telling The Truth This Time! Pinky Swear!”
Thank you for your feedback. will be sure to research more in the future.
The pre order literally says it’s a quest, are you serious?
