Just paid $80 to grind for a featured pre-order item?

Details of the product are not fine print. You’re just trolling now. If a customer doesn’t want to know what they’re buying so much that they won’t take 2 seconds to look at the details, they have no right to complain.

No, i’m describing modern online gaming in a shellnut.

Am I the only one that thinks the transmog looks terrible? I don’t care about it and will never use it…

On the flip side that hearthstone is badass.

$39.99 is what Shadowlands costs. Pretty cheap for an expansion these days.

Extra $20 you get a 120 boost, Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount, and Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set quest! All for $59.99 this is the average cost of a game these days or an expansion.

Another $20 bringing your total to $79.99 you get the Ensorcelled Everwyrm flying mount, and Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set quest, Wraithchill (which makes hunters cry because screw you hunters and weapon effects which is not fair), an eternal traveler hearthstone, plus 30 days of game time.

I was going to just order the $59.99 edition myself for the mount/collectors edition. But my game was due to be renewed for $15 so I just dropped the extra $5 and got the 79.99 version. I think people forget the real cost of the $79.99 version is $65. Which is the same cost as the $60 version with tax.

I mean, you can justify it however you want to yourself.

Pre-ordering is always a mistake.

You dont get to use the word “research”…ever.

J/K w/you though! Take care.

Knows Blizzard is a shady company with disgusting business practices. Still preorders and is amazed by their shady business practice. :man_facepalming:

The store is there for anything Blizzard decides to put in it. You just have to decide what you are willing to buy/not buy. The “tale of the sale” (as its called in retail) will determine what is put there in the future, not by you dictating what the “store is there for”.

you still get

120 boost
30 days game time
hearth toy
mount
and the weapon effect

From a demon hunter’s perspective it probably seemed like 12 or 15 mimutes. DHs move very fast though.
It takes a while, unless one is very lucky.

Best advice is just play and kill stuff and you will gather the 40 dealies to get the mog.

It was minutes a day if you did blood gate. Run around and collect a pack. Murder a pack. Collect your 6 and move on.

I will, thanks.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.

I have yet to find anything so bad that I regretted pre-ordering.

Has there been things I disliked? Yes. But not a game breaker.
If asked would I say what I didn’t like? Yes I would.

If they change something fine. If they don’t, fine.

If you don’t like something, express your opinion as you are in this forum/thread.

Not really. That version gives you 3 extra things the others don’t.

. a hearthstone toy
. 30 days free game time
. a transmog weapon effect

Checkmate!

Whoops, I was looking at the most expensive version. Looks like I checkmated myself. Doh!

Not in the slightest. An uninformed consumer has no right to complain about something being as advertised.

Because “Blizzard.”

Checking that was the very FIRST thing I did, then I thought “sounds doable.” And it was, with none of the massive mob grinding other people did. I forgot about it and accomplished it just with normal World Quest mobs, which I was killing anyway for the World Quests.

Yeah, I did it for ALL the items; So it wasn’t that huge a deal to me, that one of them was a quest. Plus you get the wyrm mount (though anyone can click it to get the quest, but they’d also have to do that later to turn it in.)

If you don’t try for it, and let it happen, you complete the quest pretty easily. It does take a week but like, 20 minutes a day .

The flying mount grants a quest for the Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set.

Can’t read now? This is literally on the pre-order page as you buy it.

I usually try and be a bit more soft when talking about the company but it does show how disconnected they are. I don’t think any game should make you farm for a pre-ordered item. Pre-order items are a nice bonus incentive, to be like thank you for purchasing.

It also shows me how many people did not pre-order when it was originally announced otherwise the forums would’ve had a riot. I hope they don’t do it again in the future.

You know, when I purchased I looked everywhere for the transmog set and couldn’t find it anywhere, then I saw where it said the bit about a quest to unlock. I said to myself “damn im an idiot”. Did I blame Blizz? No. It’s very clearly advertised. I just chose to read what was included after I made the purchase. And no, I don’t want a refund. I very much look forward to SL. You probably complain about a meal at a restaurant after you’ve eaten it don’t you?
