Just odered my first razer naga

For those who had a crap mouse than went to nage, how much better did wow get with all those buttons?

i use a g600 and couldn’t imagine not having all the buttons. Not all of the buttons are as useful as others, and it will take some time to get used to it, but it’s worth it.

I wouldn’t be able to play wow without my Naga

I can’t imagine using so many buttons. Especially since I"m left handed using a right handed mouse.

I’ve got 2 additional buttons under my thumb on the mouse I use and that’s just fine for me.

For what it’s worth though, I know people who were certified gen-u-wine clickers before they got their naga, then subsequently played with them to duelist.

It can be a world of difference for some people. Good luck OP.

I went from 1800 to 2300 with mine. Took about 5 years of using it to attain that Chad rating.

 my “gaming” mouse has two buttons. in fact i dont even know what brand it is but it’s gotten me duelist since forever. :hugs: :kissing_heart: :kissing_heart: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

All the buttons are amazing on my ww and restor druid which are over the top with buttons to press. My one complaint is that they are linked hard to the razer control software so if it randomly updates or razaer has connection issues (which happens from time to time) All of a sudden the buttons stop being remapped if you remap them which is insanely annoying. If they had gone with the design of storing configuration onboard the mouse it would have been way better IMO. Other than that though super helpful having extra buttons on the mouse.

Had a Naga back in MoP. Loved it but Razer products don’t last, I forgot what happened to mine but it started having problems after a year or so.

Been using a Zowie EC1-A and it’s great but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss all the side buttons.

It took me a few weeks to get used to mine. I started off with a normal 2 button mouse. I would pve with the new 12 button and continue to pvp with the 2 button. But once I got it down which was jesus maybe wotlk era I have never gone back.
The only bad thing is the 12 button razer I started with isnt being made anymore I believe it was 2012 and it lasted me maybe three years then I had a razer molten same thing just different color. Now I have the trinity and its finicky with the buttons and the removable side plate. Its also way fatter which i really dislike.

But enjoy the new mouse and all the new stuff that your going to be able to use with your other hand now! =D

Made a world of difference OP. I prefer and use a g600. Had the same one for many many years. Razers seem to break frequently but while working, it’ll be wonderful.

I’d really recommend a G600 or the Corsair Scimitar over a naga. Like all razer products the naga feels extremely flimsy and cheaply made. The G600 also has a few extra buttons you can remap.

I don’t use any number keys over 6 because even with my massive bearpaws 6 is hard to reach. I think it’s bad practice to bind abilities or bonds you use really often to your mouse just in the weird case you have to go without your mouse. But I have a few random shift focus and arena target macros on there.

question to swifty mouse users:

which abilities do you bind to those side buttons? its hard to imagine actually using my right hand for my rotation but apparently some people do it

I just keep it 1-= like the top row of the keyboard, but I dont really use anything over 6. And everything 1-6 is still bound on my keyboard, which I mostly use. Shift hamstring is 8, rally is 7, i think that’s the highest bonds i have.

Edit: most of my rotational stuff (mortal strike, wb, execute, ww, bladestorm) is bound to q e r f s, w/ modifiers.

so you’re telling me you actually press the right buttons for your damage abilities. thats wild
jk i just saw edit

btw the g600 is trash. great quality mouse but i had to return it because i actually like to grip my mouse and not have the right AND left sides of the mouse force me to rest instead of grip.

what kind of moron thought of that g-shift key anyway? ruins the entire thing

Yeah I had to unbind the g modifier. I use my mouse sometimes for rotational stuff or like focus charge (shift4), but I honestly feel like I’ve mostly outgrown it. Still quite nice to have.

cant play wow without it. played 2 razer naga epics until they died and now im playing with a naga trinity. cant recommend it enough

It might feel a bit weird until you get used to the side buttons. But now, I wouldn’t be able to play WoW without a MMO mouse.

Unfortunately, I had durability issues with Razer. They’re great when they’re working, but they’d start having issues after a year or so, and then I’d have to buy it again.

After a few times, it felt like a bit of a scam.

Yeah I don’t think razer is as good as Logitech just I know I’ve seen so many wow players use the naga so I figured I would just start with that lol.

Get you a G600, or if you have smaller hands a Scimitar.
