Just make ques faster for dps

This is impossible. Healer role in arena and shuffle is inherently boring, stressful and unfun. From the moment gates open and game starts, as a healer, you literally have to play the entire game “scared” behind the pillars to not get cced.

DPS on the other hand has the excitement of trying to get a kill and play offensive most game.

The ONLY thing that would make me heal RSS is some kind of priority queue account wide where when I switch to my dps, I get put in front of the line. I don’t even care about gold, or cosmetics as an incentive. Not worth healing RSS for that.

New cosmetic rewards like new sets or new effects. A mount skin would actually be huge and if you set the reward high enough people will want to grind it out. A very spicy take most people would hate at least the idea of. But I unironically think it would be good. Is to buff prot pally healing/kit to be able to compete as a healer against other healers not just other prot pallys. Theres been patches previous expansions with prot healers. However I know this would upset most people. They already half committed prot to healing anyway. To be clear I know most people would be against the prot change. But it would help solo q q timers.

Or maybe buff holy pally first so paladins actually play their healing spec over buffing a role no one wants to see in PvP.

Holy pallys literally a top tier healer in solo shuffle. Their kit was built for solo shuffle. They still need buffs/changes for reg 3s. The incoming buffs seem good

Ah yes sorry, I forgot that only the top end matters in arena, nevermind the low representation of holy pally at anything below Gladiator level.

Wait you think classes that are top tier should be buffed because bad players dont know how to play them?

Sorry but what does this even mean?

Does the spec suddenly become playable at 2400+?

Hes saying the class is to hard to play only top tier players can play it. So it should be buffed rofl

There are ways to buff a class without raising their ceiling.

Holy Pallys need buffs for reg 3s which they are getting. But your issue is solo shuffle in which they excell. Maybe just practice more?

I wonder what would happen if it queued 2v2s double dps when there weren’t enough healers for 3s, after say a 10 minute threshold.

However instead of it being a standard 2v2 Zergfest, everyone has a passive “HoT buff” that functioned similar to a full healer HPS. As dampening sets in the passive healing slowly fades, but it gives players time to flesh out defensives and trade accordingly.

It would be kind of like everyone having full Druid HoTs all game until dampening made them ineffective.

Ah yes, sorry my bad. I guess the solution to lowering queues in solo shuffle is for healers to just practice more.

I get the idea but honestly i think it would end up bad. favoring certain specs even more then solo shuffle already does. People already hate prot pally qs. Every match I q everyone’s raging rofl. And this would be worse then prot pally qs. Its def a hard problem to fix though.

I think buffing underperforming healers would help solo shuffle qs. Pallys not one of them.

???

Rated solo shuffle didn’t exist before Dragonflight…

Unless you are comparing unrated brawls to rated. Which would be an exceptionally smooth-brained take.

I suppose they could make another bracket where it’s 5v5 solo shuffle. One round only, each side only gets 1 healer.

It would be more like an RNG lotto / skirmish style but it could place dps to healers at a 4:1 ratio. That amount of players mitigates the “bad comps” more often, any everyone is subjected to it. :man_shrugging:

If more people just made a prot pally to queue with there wouldn’t be as long queue time for dps :dracthyr_shrug:

That just sounds even more miserable for the healers.

I really think cosmetics and buffing weaker healers is the solution. Unrionically I think my prot pally change would help a decent amount. But that would also trigger people. Anyway iv been up all night good chatting rethum

Oh I forgot to mention, it would be a full kill to win. Not first death.

Entire team has to die.
