Just let the non flying crowd zone and play with themselves in a server

That is fine.

They did it with warmode and in the process took away world PVP servers and the community with it.

For me that was bittersweet but I accepted it if it makes the majority happy. No flying/flying servers would make pro and anti flying players aka the majority happy.

I see it as win/win.

I think no flying servers is something that must happen for many reasons. The big one is that to segregate those players that feel no flying is that important.
