Just let Horde/Alliance group/guild together

Just do it.

Lore is already crap and can change for whatever reason Blizzard wants. And there has never been a better time than now when we’re all in the “afterlife” and aligning ourselves with covenants anyway.

Letting Alliance/Horde group together would go a long way toward solving player complaints about faction balance and prevent the perpetual positive feedback loop of high-end guilds faction transferring because everyone else is already Horde.

Gameplay above all. MMOs are a social game, let people play together.

No. Void Elves and Blood Elves can not exist in the same room without bickering over their hairspray.

(Statement): Unit Exacitor agrees.

(Commentary): All them fine Goblin ladies out there just love Unit Exacitor’s gold finish. Its a tragedy he currently has to literally beat them off with a stick, rather than just metaphorically.

You mean Male Blood Elves would kill Male Void Elves for the facial hair

That too. Blood would stain the streets.

They always say bring the player not the class yet that is not quiet true is it with restrictions that are as outdated as the devs we have making the game at this time.

For this, first the alliance must die as an unviable faction, since its existence no longer makes sense to the players, so that we see ideas like these, of impere and rebels being together in the same team, come true.

plus we have all them stupid droud it would be terble bc dont want

I really hope Blizzard never does this because I enjoy the faction divide but if one day they do, I hope it’s limited to dungeons, raids and guilds.

For example, an orc still couldn’t walk into Stormwind without being kos and in WM and BGs we still slaughter each other.

Yes please, let me group up with all those big strong orc and tauren ladies.

Seriously though, this would help the game since it’s not as popular as it once was, and dividing the player base even further just makes the problem worse.

Can keep the cities faction specific, keep the divide in place for PvP, but for PvE how many times have the Horde and Alliance come together to face a common for, it happens even in the supposed faction war based expansions at some point.

How about no.

Not a fan of it. But to kind of echo Tovi, if they were to do that it should be very limited or the opposing faction cities should be hostile with the longest rep grind in gaming history. And when I say hostile I mean you so much as step on a rat in SW the wrath of Crithto comes from behind the nearest lamp post so hard as to one chomp stomp an orc into disconnection.

If they made it limited to only dungeons and raids, sure why not… I don’t even pay attention or look at other player’s appearances most of the time anyway when I’m busy fighting.

Great argument :man_facepalming: I am going to go with NO.

I vote no! No point of factions anymore if you do that.

Get out of here with this nonsense.

Teaming up in dungeons and raids makes sense simply from a lore perspective, not sure why they haven’t allowed it yet.

No.

It would make zero in-game sense and having faction/race/class distinctions adds complexity, variety and flavor to the game.

Add the dynamic of underlying conflict to the groups!

Got a night elf? They’ll randomly do one attack against a horde team member.

Goblin in the group? He’ll randomly jack 5g from people throughout the run.

This could be exciting!

The same lore that says that the Horde destroyed our capitals, killed our citizens, and that we must therefore forgive these aggressions in the name of the greater good?

The same lore that makes the alliance have no love of their own and always be a laughing matter and ridiculous, like in Lordaeron where we forget Blight or like when Tyrande was flanked in his own backyard?
The same lore that makes our faction playdumb for the horde?

Making groups with the horde would only make the alliance irrelevant to exist as an independent group, if we depended on the horde to make raids and dungeons.

Honestly, getting to the point of making content with the opposite faction because ours doesn’t have anything else that creates charisma to have numbers or be relevant to doing something in it, it is better to kill all at once and join the horde.

The lore he’s probably talking about is the lore where my derpy racial leader is standing in the throne room of Stormwind. Or the lore where Anduin gets to walk inside Orgrimmar for a funeral.

It’s the personal choice for the individual, not the entire faction.
