Just Leave Keys

When most of the group is really bad and clearly bought IO or was lucky enough to get carried. Left my own +12 today because all 3 DPS couldn’t avoid or CC shades, and tank was chain pulling everything, even with Anima up. It was the most troll group ever, and they were all 4 just like, “LOL at least we get loot at end”. Well nope… I freakin left that crap run before last boss. Not rewarding bad behavior with better gear and possible IO boost. I’ll find people who actually want to time and push keys.

well, uh

that’s a good way to burn a key i guess

also pushing a +12 on a tuesday before reset is probably not the best of ideas

So you made a group that was unable to do a run than left it. Your point.

All you have shown us here is that your bad at judging players when making a group so a good idea to avoid your groups as your likly to not vet players well than leave when it dosen’t go well.

It is the group leaders responsibility to vet players for m+ something you obv failed at if it was the “most troll group ever”. Just inviting high io is NOT veting a group properly.

Had many players spend a sec pre inviting and ask me what route im using and where each pride will spawn that as an example goes a LONG way beyond just io to vet a player a tank in this example but works for any player as everyone should know that answer for the common routes at least.

I formed an amazing comp with players that had 900+ IO and multipled timed keys at the level I posted. Somehow they managed to be complete trash. Like I said, people can get higher IO or clears by getting lucky or paying for carries. Not going to interview people before hand.

IF your not going to spend time to vet players than ya you are the one failing at your job here. Which is why you got a crappy group feel no sympathy for you.

IT is the group leaders job to vet the group if you don’t you will and often get bad players. High io is not a indication of skill it is only a indication that there toon has managed to complete x. It helps you know what players to waste time looking into more and what ones to not bother but in the age of boosting and with any good guild there is a ton of high io baddies esp if where only talking 12s.

As said you have only shown us here to avoid your groups as not going to bother vetting players and than leave after failing your job. Asking a single good question of a player is not a interview and you don’t have to interview someone to vet people. A single question is vastly more effective than io alone.

I dont care how bad people are i will never abandon them. Ive healed the least skilled and the most toxic. I will not quit.

? You’re so dumb, all I’m saying is leave bad groups and don’t reward them with loot. Who cares if a key is tanked, they are easy to ++++++++++

Never once said you don’t leave bad groups? Said you are the reason you had the bad group and the player that failed the most in said bad groups is you via failing the most core job of the group leader making the group. As such the worst player there was you that made the group that was that bad.

I leave keys the moment my health goes below 50% when I tank.

that’s a surefire way to develop a reputation as ‘the guy who will just up and bail his own key because things aren’t going smoothly’

there’s almost no reason to quit a run especially your own but hey it’s your key and you want to frustrate four other people with your attitude of ‘heh you don’t deserve loot’ then you do you

It’s about sending a message.

Really, all you did here was stop the chance of yourself getting loot and payment for all of the frustration you went through in there. Good job, I guess?

Just curious as to what the single question you’d ask someone would be to see if they’re qualified for a +12? Genuine curiosity here, I don’t do M+ and don’t even have an .io so I’m lost as to what that question would be.

I always use the “3 strike” method on pugs.
I don’t care about the meters until it became a problem.

If someone made a mistake 3 times, and that hinder the progress of the group. Tell them to stop being stupid and play the game properly, and tell them what to do.

If they talk back and refuses to admit that they’re sorry for hindering the group… just leave.
My favorite line is if they mock me for being a “tryhard”, or replaying with something sarcastic, when i just want to finish the damn dungeon for my Great Vault.
Even funnier when they whispers you and insults you. Put on Block and move on with your life. I have exactly 156 people in my Global Ignore List

Pug is a harsh place to be.

You either be toxic, or let people be toxic to you.

Get a guild, or a group of trusted people to do GROUP contents.

This is all really silly, and calling people dumb cause they don’t agree with you is a real fast way to earn yourself a vacation. But you do you.

What route would you suggest? Or any number of questions pertaining to a boss or trash mechanic.

I like the route one as it also ends up preventing the dps from suggesting alt routs mid run and then getting… lets say unpleasant.
