Ok I concede you should instantly have groups whenever you want without any effort to socialize.
The game shouldn’t strive to offer a “best solution” to every player.

I’m saying, very clearly, a guild isn’t for everyone.
We do. Get into literally any run possible. Try your balls off. Get decent enough parses and then you can join any run you want at any time you want.
My alt mage just needed to get into the 60s (took until my 2nd run) and now she gets invited all the time and is slowly replacing those 60s with 80s/90s.

Except you actually haven’t been able to explain how being in a guild isn’t the best outcome for everyone. You just keep saying they might not get into a guild run. But even a 99% not to is better than a 100% chance not to.

If a person doesn’t have a schedule they can commit to, a guild isn’t always the best answer for their issues.
Notice I’m saying a specific person, and their issues. Not everyone. Not mine. Not yours. A specific person who can’t or doesn’t want to raid every week.
It’s still better than not being in one at all
But is it the best solution for their problems?
Best? No. Finding more time or choosing not to pay a monthly sub for a game you can’t play would be the best solution. Is it a possible solution? Moreso than doing nothing.
