I stunned him, the convoke went off anyways and killed me through 40khp and 31% vers in less than a second.

Nope. He was inside the hut in the deepwind gorge map. I turned the corner and stunned him INSTANTLY.
I didn’t react to convoke and stun, I stunned him as soon as i turned the corner premptively.
Didn’t matter, the convoke killed me in last than half a second.
Literally the most busted damage in the history of WoW.
Youd have to go all the way back to classic with gimmick PoM pyro mage builds to find that type of 1 shot ability.
Difference is boomkins are OP without convoke up as it is, thats just the cherry on top.

yeah convoke is dumb and no one will argue otherwise, but in this case it sounds like he probably had zerker and used a salt potion so that damage was definitely amplified
i got a ret weapon for fun today and i have no idea how to play ret and all of my gear is crit with no mastery, and i randomly hit a 30k final verdict on a pvp dummy. in a bg with salt and zerker that would probably do the same amount of absurd damage
personally i just have to look back at cata level 72 prot pallies popping wings and avenger’s shield + tazik for one shots

Logs wouldn’t show how fast it happened, theres plenty of youtube videos of people being 1 shot by it.
I don’t understand how countless people still defend convoke.

Because you don’t understand how it works.
Convoke isn’t impervious to stuns and magically able to continue to cast through the stun.
You didn’t get one shot by it. You didn’t die instantly. You didn’t stun instantly.
Fabricated story because someone didn’t Shut down convoke fast enough

Was he balance or guardian? The guardian legendary makes a guardian using balance affinity and in moonkin form immune to cc effects.
Check the youtube video I linked. They are one shotting rank 1 players with convoke.
The damage goes off instantly, by the time the stun registers you are dead.
There is no interrupting it or reacting to it. Youd literally have to prestun it.
The cases where someone did have time to interrupt it are when the druid either doesnt have full cds up or they are hitting multiple targets with it.
Fully half your posts are gripes about losing in PvP.
What’s the term PvPers use? “Git gud”?

Maybe you should use a defensive to counter convoke. Gee, if only there was a defensive that made you immune to spells. There’s no defensives like that in the game!

Lol that’s not convoke. Again, you don’t understand how it works. Clearly.
It’s 16 spells channeled over 4 seconds. 4 spells a second, with up to like 12 different spells able to be cast. In order to die almost instantly, with your stats, you’d need 2 Starsurges back to back. Logs would shown this. But due to the RNG factor of the spells Convoke does cast, that is very unlikely to happen. Normally you get about 2 full seconds to shut it down before you’ve taken enough damage to actually die.
People shut it down so much and so often that the majority of your high ranked balance Druids are Kyrian because Convoke is too RNG and has too much counter play.
No, they just shut it down. You did not. Plain and simple. Even had you both hit your buttons at the same time, the stun would have registered after a single cast from convoke. Not enough to kill you

Not to mention that, allegedly, only 9 of those 16 spells can be Balance spells (when cast in moonkin form), with the other 7 split evenly between Feral and Resto [and if there are no enemies in melee range, Feral abilities are replaced with more Resto spells rather than Balance spells].
