I had no idea this could happen or even what was going on, but I got ambushed by this huge elite boss out of nowhere in a Tier 1 delve. I managed to get him down to 50% and he fled. Someone needs to update the Wowhead article, because it says that he is only confirmed to appear in Tier 4 and above.

I got him in a lv 1 delve when I was leveling an alt a couple weeks ago. Wasn’t hard to solo but I was on a dk.

Any difficulty, and doesn’t have to be a bountiful either. I saw him twice when I was going through various delves just hunting those one-time chests for the achievements.

I saw him once in a Tier 1 on my Spreist and managed to chase him away.
He popped once in a T7 on my Destro lock and promptly showed me who was boss in 5 seconds.
Kinda stupid a 72 Spriest can chase him away but an 80 565 got SPANKED hard.

I’ve only seen him spawn one time, in a Tier 7. My Voidwalker tanked him while I cowered 41 yards away only stepping that extra yard closer to refresh my DoTs lol.
It reads “as of right now, Zekvir has been confirmed to spawn in Delves as low as Tier 4”
That is not the same thing as saying it only spawns in Delves tier 4 and higher, and because it states a time frame (September 12th, 2024) it also means it is not incorrect information.
Just to be pedantic about it.

I think most people reading “as of right now” would assume that to mean right now, as in today, not as in last month.

I was running lvl 1 for a quick weekly quest complete, and he popped up and got spanked.
True. But the wowhead comments do have a time stamp, to help aid in determining when this comment may be relevant.

“As of right now” obviously means the time the article was written.
That’s the entire reason you even state it. If you meant “as of the time you’re reading this” then you simply state nothing, because that is the default assumption lol.

He spawned for me for the first time the other night in a Tier 8. Scared me half to death. I yelled, and confused my husband.
Got him down so he ran away. He dropped a map for me. Haven’t seen him since.
He only spawns when I’m dodging 47 spores and doing the tango with a difficult mob.
And then I get globalled like a sweat lord glad picking on a MMR 0 newb
