Just got some valor points having issues upgrading mythic+ gear. Just got my first piece of 203 upgradable gear. The only requirement I see is that I have to complete every season one mythic+ dungeon at level 5 or higher timed. The only one I haven’t timed at 5 or higher is plague fall. So now I just timed find a plague fall level 5. Now I am still getting the same error. I need to complete a level 5 or higher? What do I need to do??

Did you get the Keystone Explorer achieve?
note that you can only use it on items you get now - the vault item you got this week (next week vault item can be used). also, you dont use the valor on the item, you need to buy an item with the valor and use it on the item. the sellers at the guild bank the item you want to upgrade also matters for what item you need ot get from the valor seller
also also, the first “rank” is 5+ everything. then its 10+ then 15+. you may of doen the 5’s but not the 10’s yet and am trying to upgrade an item to high for you to upgrade
No you don’t. Items you receive from mythics as of tuesday (excluding this weeks vault) can be upgraded.
Go to the same npc that upgrades pvp gear and stick your mythic item in the slot and it will allow you to upgrade.
You cannot buy items with valor
You can buy crafting materials with valor, but not gear items.
I just got the keystones conquer when I completed mythic plaguefall 5 earlier. I got a piece of 203 gear I got early today from a 10. When I try to upgrade it says I need to complete all season one level 5 or higher with in the time limits. Which I just completed earlier when I timed the plaguefall 5.

GEAR you already had + this weeks vault GEAR = cant be upgraded. any GEAR you get in keys the week + next weeds vault GEAR can be upgraded
the valor points need to be used to buy a ITEM from a valor npc thats close to the guild bank
the valor ITEM needed changes for what GEAR you upgrading
Two things I recommend trying to resolve this:
You sure you have all the others timed at +5 or higher? You should have the Keystone Explorer achieve if so. Without that achieve I don’t think the system will let you upgrade beyond item level 200.
That NPC only sells crafting materials. The upgrade NPCs are either the PVP upgrade broker or whoever upgrades covenant gear at your sanctum.
Looks like you haven’t timed theater of pain yet on +5 or higher.

Have you even checked that vendor? The 3 items he sells are “heavy callous hides” or “elethium ore” or “lightless silk” – none of those things are used to upgrade M+ gear.
i have read the notes and seen people talk about it, be it ingame and online
they all say you need to buy the upgrading item from the newly added npc and use it with newly got gear
Theater of Pain, you don’t have a timed key over the 5 key stone level. Or at least not according to your IO page.
You have no idea what you are talking about. You can’t buy gear with Valor, you can only upgrade gear dropped since patch. But keep on with your ignorance and spreading misinformation.
That’s what in saying. The items you buy from the npc is for upgradeojg new gear you get from keys.
It’s a 3 step process
Get new gear/valor from a key
Use vapor points to buy the upgrade item from npc
Use item you got from npc on new gear you got from key to upgrade the gear
It seems like you lot are blind, can’t read or stupid.

There’s benchmarks for how far you can upgrade your gear, and requirements for that
Time all dungeons on level 5 = upgrade to ilvl X
Time all dungeons on level 10 = upgrade to ilvl Y
Time all dungeons on level 15 = upgrade to ilvl Z
