Just give up on Frost DK already

So I’ve been a FDK main more or less since wrath, back in the days where you get a certain glyph and spam Icy Touch and swear you’re the best player ever…

Those days are long gone, and I am a lot older now, but my God did these buffs do nothing for FDK… Still made of paper, seen 2 frost dks go 0-6 and 1-5 in my last 2 lobbies, they JUST DIE AND HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BESIDES NEAR PERFECT GAMEPLAY!!! Basicailly… IF YOU’RE GONNA MAKE FDK A GLASS CANNON HOW BOUT YOU GIVE THEM THE PART WHERE THEY ACTUALLY DO CRAZY DAMAGE IN EXCHANGE FOR BEING SO SQUISHY!! :smiley: :smiley: but wait, HURRR DURR DEY HAVE SUM GUD DEFENSIVES MOONNN!!?>!!! Yeah, no, they almost HAVE to use their defensive cooldowns in order for their setup and burst to actually work, its always been the case, especially with just how fast they die.

My last 2 lobbies on this WW were 2050/2100 MMR in Solo Shuffle, which I am aware is not high mmr, but I find it silly that I just picked up WW yesterday and feel I’m cruising to 2100 with minimal effort.

Please do something about Frost DK, this is no longer acceptable

try one hander horseman build with shatter talents and just press everything on cd. 1 hand frost is doing solid dam right now.

horseman feels good with 2h as well I’m not even full gear and hitting 1.5m frost strikes w shattering, trollbane’s is another couple 100k on top of that

Have you seen many? I saw one who killed my healer through pain sup at 100%, but that was the full stun and strang and he didn’t trinket, so hard to tell how strong it actually is.

Only saw 4 dks and there were 2 unholy+bm, 1 unholy+demo, and 1 unholy+feral.

was doing this at 2250 mmr as dev dk no voice in 3’s after not playing frost at all the entire season. the frost dk go and the frost dk rotation isn’t that complicated. the xeek guide is really good tho

it feels really strong rn. there are 2 builds that work. one is the one shot build that Xeek uses with dev dk.

the other is the 1 hander build that you will see a lot in shuffle. that 1 hander build is deadly and it can hit 2 mil frost strikes if it crits. Stun silence is 4 sec stun, followed by 1 sec dr’d stun, followed by 4 sec silence. so as a healer unless u press very high, u will prob die.

Yea pisses me off they burn throygh ams ibf and lichborne to get their one shot setup. Degenerate gameplay if I say so myself

Frost DK is Very strong, and it all setup base. Very simple class to play yes… but you must do your setup and know when to pop your CDs. The climb to 2100+ was the easiest as FDK vs me going UH. Keep practicing and stay positive, know when to LoS, be mindful of your positioning etc…
