I mean, that’s totally possible
And if were to say “Sara, you’re kinda being excessively pedantic right now” It does not mean I’m not saying you’re being excessively pedantic.
Wait.
You think Velfs are more dull then helves? Like, I can understand a lot of complaints about the Rendorei, but the idea that they’re dull?
Dude, High elves are probably the most bland and uninteresting race that could be implemented in the game based on the lore; They’re like the sort of treat that parents give to their kids when they think that vanilla is too exotic and stimulating.
subjective
adjective
influenced by or based on personal beliefs or feelings, rather than based on facts.
kind of. kind of like pretending he said blood elves arent high elves is kind of annoying. the most obvious difference they call themselves blood elves. he said they have slight differences(that were resolved with the restoration of the sunwell), and an eye color that based on his recent comments means, and comments made by past devs on the green glint, blue/green will fade away in time and all high elves will reflect the color of the sunwell which IS gold even though it is as much arcane as it is holy. thats what i got from his comments
and again blood elves are high elves, all high elves have the same connection to the sunwell. if the sunwell is changing them, its changing them all
So it’s the same as every single point made by any side in this?
Clearly not everyone on the horde wanted Vulpera.
This attitude of “horde gets everything they want” is super childish and demonstratably wrong. I’d have taken ogres over any of the current ARs beyond maybe mag’har. But we’re probably not getting them becasue it looks like ARs are going to stop with BFA ending so I’m just gonna have to live with that.
This reminds me of when a kid has to compromise and decides that they hate everything bu the thing they are demanding.
Is it subjective sure…so are your opinions. Calling other people’s opinions, opinions, doesn’t gain you any ground.
However, an Alliance of humans, mountain dwarfs, and high elves is a basic fantasy trope, available in most fantasy worlds. It is the road most traveled. The Alliance is a faction of mostly human equivalent species. If the concern is that tey are boring:
Boring
bor·ing; adjective:
1. not interesting; tedious.
Then there is a point to be made about differentiating WoW from everything else that’s out there and player options from what’s already available to them on the Horde and on the Alliance.
But I said nothing at all about the horde. I said most of the alliance ars were not requested so it shouldn’t be a surprise people are still asking for what they actually do want.
I wouldn’t call it “childish”, but the whole deciding-for-the-group thing is very tribal.
…and they should. And, respect that other people will want other things.
It made plenty of sense since the alliance was out of position to help them with their immediate threats and joining the alliance would have been untenable based on the most recent actions by garithos.
Simply put, the horde was the better choice.
I made a honey BBQ pulled chicken brownie. And it was good. Don’t be jealous.
Wait, all of those things with each other or as one thing?
That’s fine. I support most race requests because more options isn’t a bad thing.
That is an abomination.
Actually, it’s fact.
noun
- a thing that is known or proved to be true.
Every single playable race that has pre-existing reference (humans, goblins, minotaurs, orcs, elves, dwarves and gnomes) have had considerable effort put into them to keep them from being the bland stereotypes that have been floating around since Tolkien sparked fresh interest in the fantasy genre.
Helves simply don’t. They’re the most bland and uninteresting race you could possibly ask for that hasn’t been made playable.
“My opinion is fact!”
Relax, furry.
