I was referring to the sharing of Hair colors, not hair styles, so like a Blood Elf would in this case get pink, blue, and purple hair.
Fel doesn’t wear off, technically the yellow eyes are from the renewed sunwell and is effectively the cure for the Fel afflicted eyes.
Arcane is purple, so if they got any other eye color from that it would be purple, but it’s going to the Void Elves to help solidify Shadow/Light as the differences between the two races.
My assumption would be it’s generational, Thrall’s parents drank the Demon blood, as a result, it tainted Thrall when he was made. Thrall never used or consumed Fel, and his mate is a brown orc.
I mean, a Blood Elf’s kid could have blue eyes (but they’d likely be yellow from coming into contact with the new sunwell). However Thrall’s skin didn’t go back to being brown, so the taint on his body didn’t go away, making your example a rather poor one.
“Hey, we’re already this far into getting blood elf customizations for void elves… Would it kill them to just add this teeny weeny thing to void elves? ”
Originally, all orcs were either brown-skinned, ranging from a bark-like brown to reddish-brown; or grey-skinned, ranging from a light grey to a dark, sooty black. However, with the exception of the isolated Mag’har, their bodies reacted to their exposure to warlock magic once it was introduced by Gul’dan. All orcs with warlocks in their clan found their skin slowly turning green before they were ever offered the blood of the demon Mannoroth
The first orcs to drink the blood of a pit lord rapidly completed their transition to green skin. Further drinking the blood, or possibly the blood of any demon, will change their skin again from green to scarlet, transforming them into chaos orcs or fel orcs. Orcs that drink Mannoroth’s blood obtained gray marks in their green skin. Through certain rituals this state is reversible, not only restoring the orc’s sanity but their previous green tone as well. No green-skinned orc has ever managed to return to a completely uncorrupted state.

EDIT: Honestly reading that again I’m reminded that there is no going back from fel corruption so ya, Blood elves shouldn’t have blue eyes, shouldn’t even have gold eyes
It is incomplete without the “normal” hair options. For anyone wanting to Rp headcannon as a Helf (which is the only reason the skin tones were given in the first place, ) having the skin tones without the hair to go with it is silly looking. If they don’t implement Non-voidy looking hair of at least a few “normal” looking colors there would be no point to the non-void skin tones.
Seriously, I don’t know why people do not understand this.
At this point they should just make Blood Elf be a neutral race. They are obviously going to give in eventually to make void elves identical to Blood Elves so they might as well.
Just retcon “void” elf out of existence and make the Blood Elves neutral.
They are not getting rid of the void, though. They are simply adding new cosmetic options. If people still want to make a blueberry elf, they can. Some people like the goth look, but many were annoyed that the void (sorry about the rhyme) elves had so little lore, and seemed to come out of nowhere at the tail end of an expansion.
Wait, Void Elves aren’t getting ear options? I thought that’d be tied to the model. We’re obviously only getting flesh tones so that the Alliance isn’t excluded from brown elves, so I don’t see why the Alliance would be excluded from ear size.
Regular hair — at least hair colors — would be very appreciated, though, you’re right.
I sort of expect the ear options later when we get a real customization pass.
It just wouldn’t be fair to the other allied races if we got a ton of extra stuff for Shadowlands launch, and everybody else has to wait.
Now, if they give Nightborne some ear options too, that’d make sense, but… we just need to have patience.
The only real thing that’s needed to get the concept they want going out the gate though is a few more hair colours, which is really easy to do. Just toss blonde, black, and true white, and we can wait for the rest.
And that’s just to keep those who wanted High Elves originally appeased until the time comes. (And frankly, when the time comes, I’d rather the tentacles be separated from the hair for helfs, and then we get more void options. Helfs are a subrace of Velf now, so, we kind of need to focus on actual velf stuff too…)
