Just give me a lil' more for Void Elves, please

Yeah I doubt void Elves would miss out on the ear customization.

And if bloodelfs were in the alliance since the begining ; will you still horde at this point ?.

Bloodelfs players dont have faction pride , they only care about that race lol.

Sometimes I think I hear someone attempting to make sense in my ear, but it always passes because their words mean nothing. Oh well, must have been a whisper in the wind or something.

Its always gonna be funny how dilusionals are blood elves players XD.

Cant argue with “that race”.

It’s really annoying to express love for your faction only to be thrown insults, but that says more about the Alliance players that do it :woman_shrugging:

I literally was just saying I enjoy the Horde. And then… yeah. Can’t reason with everyone or be allowed to have your own opinions, I suppose.

This is a demonstration of why I rarely wander the forums now.

Does that matter? The blood elf story line told through the Horde is about growth and redemption. It’s why Lor’themar was the first to support Vol’jin’s revolution and the blood elves have been on the front lines of so many conflicts throughout the story.

The blood elves through evolved story telling have become one of the Horde’s main defenders. It’s nice to actually be solidified in the Horde. The Forsaken, for example, are having such a crisis right now and a huge part of that is because in the story, they have no solid place in the Horde. The blood elves do.

That’s like saying if orcs weren’t a race, someone wouldn’t play horde.

That’s the point. Blood Elves ARE Horde. Their lore is now Horde. Their leaders and characters are Horde.

Your hypothetical doesnt mean anything.

You’re right, I forgot about all those blood/high elf druids in WC2 and 3!

And high elf cryers don’t care about the actual high elf race and lore they just want to play the prettiest race in the game on the pretty faction. They just care for the aesthetics.

Plus, I’m someone who also wants San’layn, a vampyr race that’s pretty brutal and in line with the Forsaken. Does not scream ‘alliance’ to me.

Surprising since on the VE/BE customization thread, there was a small outcry for runic tattoo options for BE earlier, this came after NE’s got their tattoo options from a recent update on Alpha.

TBH, there seems to be individuals who will always ask for more options. It seems to go both ways…(Horde, Alliance) the problem is whether or not you choose to tune out which side is doing it. :man_shrugging:

No matter what happens 100% satisfaction is impossible someone will always complain or ask for more :woman_shrugging:

That sounds logical and fair.

Why not copying the tentacled hair as well, but making the tentacles look like “Light” tentacles if that makes sense?

I’ve seen a few mockups in this sense and they look fantastic on Blood Elves.

I’d rather they stop the copy and pasting. Light tentacles have no basis in lore. Void is tentacles and Light is crystal.

At least from what we’ve seen so far.

Honestly, just give Void Elves and Blood Elves some of each others’ hairstyles and hair colours, then we’ll never have to see another High Elf thread or anti thread ever again.

I wish they would use this customization chance to start defining the differences in the cultures. Rather than just sharing everything, having unique customization that suits each race sounds better to me.

I want the void elves to get the kul’tiran hair colors. They are an alliance race, and their colors look better anyways.

Eh… I’m not a fan of the ‘light tentacle’ concept myself, so I’ll pass on that, but if others want it and seek to use it, that’s fine. ‘Tentacles’ don’t really strike me as light though, to be honest. It’s a neat idea, just not one that I’d ever use/am interested in is all ^^

Plus this concept being pushed of blood elves suddenly being the elf equivalent of LFD is just kind of not my thing either.

I think it might be more interesting if they inverted the luminosity of the hair colors when swapping them. So blood elves would get shock pink, electric blue, fabulous fushia, and nuclear green, while void elves would get blinding white, highlighter chartreuse, atomic fireball, and blazing red. And both of them need like a normal black and brown, seriously why is this not an option?
