Clairol is generic and bad for your hair.
It shows, too.
I don’t use it, lol. But blue doesn’t look like a natural hair color either.
You do realize, that by accusing someone of Gaslighting who is not, can easily create the atmosphere to where one questions there own sanity and has to state otherwise, especially in a public place.
But it’s also funny how you ignore the false accusations made by said commenter, and only chose to mention mine, while then also trying to demean me by saying “Karen” which in itself has become an internet term to basically say someone who is over the top and in some cases deranged.
Like…you do see how you’re creating the exact space in which you’re claiming you’re against?
A lot of speculation in that “lore” of yours. Not saying you are wrong but ther is nothing to back up your data. We know percentages of population of the high elves that remained after the destruction of the sunwell and what percentage of them didn’t return to silvermoon and joined the horde. Those percentages mean nothing if we never had the original number to begin with and there is no data on population growth after the Sunwell incident. We don’t even know when the elves that became void elves were banished.
It’s literally impossible for there to be less high elves than void elves, even if high elves are 1% of the Quel’Thalas elves, as the birth of void elves was seen to be a small group of blood elf researchers, as opposed to the multiple scenarios of Alliance High Elves throughout WoW, in enough numbers to be considered a small army.
It’s only speculation to the people who have a blatant anti-high elf agenda, which is rampant on the forums
High elf population depends on their reproductive cycles and reproductive habits. How often do they have children? How many does the average high elf have over their long lifespan? How prone to reproducing with other species are the high elves in stormwind? How long does a high elf take to grow from infant to adult? How soon into their life can they start to reproduce? How long has it been since the original group of elves were banished from silvermoon? How many were there? What were their reproductive habits? How many high elves choose to return to silvermoon permanently during the time after the blood elves joined the horde? (From what I’ve been able to find it was a rather common occurance.)
There are too many unknown variables here and there could very well be more void elves than high elves, though not very likely. It would be nice if blizzard were to publish a statistical lore book on the races of Azeroth.
Might as well just make blood elves and night elves nuetral then.
Time to go back to requesting Wildhammer and Sand Trolls be seperate allied races then.
Wait.
Oops.
Sub races are happening.
Blonde hair plz.
I’d settle for more choices on hair coloring and styles. I don’t have to have a carbon copy of my BE. My void elf always looks like she is high on some good goblin weed or something. I get tired of the dark circles. Looks like she hasn’t slept in years.
The amount of hypocrisy almost overshadows the patronizing nature of your post.
Was that intentional? If so, well done. Next level mental gymnastics you’re pulling!
I hope not.
Just a clue that some people posting here are unable to express their views without being condescending, rude or obnoxious.
We all should probably roll with the punches, imo.
Why dont the alliance get everything horde has now?
Mmm wanna tell me where I’m wrong?
Or you going to bow out like most angry horde fan boy lore casuals because “it’s not worth it”.
I’ll wait for your explanation as to why high elves aren’t possible when there are playable races in game with less grandiose appearances than them.
Or you can just admit you’re angry you’re wrong about high elf lore and we walk away happy
After mag’har got a surge of customization added in, I don’t think they’re finished with allied race options.
Talk was sounding like a 9.1 or 9.2 for AR updates, but they may be a bit ahead of schedule so have that team on those already, sounding like they want to have them mostly ready by 9.0 release, with more added over time as they see fit.
It’s promising.
Anyway so i don’t think they’re done with void elves. I think we’ll see a blonde-ish and brown hair color option or two added in, and the ear options. So we’ll get our half-elf rangers x10000 in stormwind.
Because I simply disagree with the notion that aesthetic uniqueness is desirable? Like I just simply believe is more important for players to have more customizations available, specially those that reflect the rich lore of the setting.
You are asking me to pretend I find valid the argument of “I wanna be unique/I don’t wanna share my look” i simply don’t, and how many people think that exclusivity is important doesn’t change my opinion on that.
Lore and player’s chance to reflect that lore are the priority for me, that’s why I support other things such as undead skins for blood elves, mok’nathal as a playable race, etc.
So if your argument is that we should not be allowed to represent aspects the lore of the game -such as high elves- because your idea of exclusivity is more important than that, I simply cannot agree.
The whole point of your argument is that you don’t want to feel less special because someone else might look like you; it’s hard to see how that isn’t selfish in nature.
Also why do people keep reducing themes to aesthetics is beyond be at this point, it’s like some of y’all actually think Blood Elves are as deep as their looks and actually fear people would leave the Horde en masse if VE’s looked more like BE’s.
I’m really hoping for natural hair colors so we can have the full High Elf aesthetic and finally end this High Elf requests once and for all. (And this is coming from a high elf fan)
It’s likely to happen. It’s just a matter of if it will come with pre-patch, or later in the Shadowlands patch cycle.
Well…
