NEVER have I been so ANGRY to find out that an item I want has been removed from the game. You can remove elite armor sets, but when you remove a PVP weapon that perfectly matches with a particular armor set, that’s when I have a problem.
I was about to buy Relentless Gladiator’s Staff because the colors match perfectly with Shadowflame Regalia. Only the red version of the item was on the vendor, not the green version. I can’t accept that; there’s no red on Shadowflame Regalia. I searched for answers and there was absolutely no reason as to why they removed it during patch 3.3.2.
What’s more is that the Relentless’s Gladiator’s Staff is still listed on the transmog menu. Did they forget to remove that part, or did they think it’d be funny to bait players with items that they can never have?
Just because an item was removed from the game doesnt mean players who had it cant transmog it, now that woukd be really unfair. Second i am not seeing on wowhead tje staff as removed. https://www.wowhead.com/item=42392/relentless-gladiators-staff

Most of the WotLK pvp weapons were added back sometime during the past couple of expansions. At least during WoD.
Set the filter in the upper right to “all” so you can see agi/str weapons on an int class.
Maybe you should check my link and go look at the vendor. Its there for 5 marks of honor. You need to filter the vendor so you can see all items, incase you didnt know you are and intell class and that is an agility staff so it wont just show up for you.
I tried to be nice and point you in the right dorection and even provided you a link to see the item.
Upon further inspection of the vendor, the staff was hidden behind a filter. This is the first time I needed to toggle the filter to get a particular desired item.
I feel pretty dumb for not noticing, but I can’t be too hard on myself for the misinformation on wowhead and wowwiki. I’ve also asked around for the staff only to be given stupid answers.
But thank you both all the same. I might just renew my subscription for a while longer, since I already got what I want.
Yep. Lots of old PvP staff mogs are behind the filter because when they were current content, those particular ones were feral druid/hunter weapons, and thus had agility on them. So you’d have to set it to view all instead of just for your class if you’re a caster. Another example is the really great pink ruthless gladiator’s staff, which was a feral druid weapon too.
