Just Fired 3 Lead Devs

No. Diablo 4 is going to be released one way or another. Even if it’s crap, it’ll still sell big time.

Well, I have some bad news. Since Diablo 3 sold 30 million copies and Diablo 2 sold about 4 million…I’m gonna guess they are going to stick with the super successful design model

Well, it probably wasn’t releasing until 2023 at the earliest.

50 years of social constructs cant reprogram 2000 years of biology, and to be honest I dont care as long as the orange gets a squeeze. Alex Afrasiabi is a different case though egregious examples have to be dealt with.

Most people hate Poe diablo ain’t got to be that great to be better.

You aren’t hearing what I’m saying.

Their next big release is Diablo Immortal. Diablo 2 will get some people but its a retread so won’t be as big as the other games in the pipeline.

And there are a lot of people upset about the TCP/IP removal…so that will reduce some enthusiasm

Don’t you wish that evil on diablo 4.

Move him to Heroes of the Storm.

Outdated tech is outdated.

Wonder if they’re salty about Windows 10 not being available on three and a half inch floppy disks…

I guess…but when are you trying to cash in on nostalgia, people don’t like it when you change things.

They say that it also makes it so that you can’t mod the game as much as you could the original.

So if all the Devs were black men and some got fired and they hired some white guys to take their place would you still be worried about diversity hurting the game?

Yeah well, I’d rather they honestly focus on making the game better, rather than trying to preserve tech that was outdated over a decade ago.

They’re honestly doing a phenomenal job with D2R, and unlike Warcraft 3 Reforged, the original D2 client isn’t changing, so if people want to keep playing modded D2, they can.

Where I work it’s a man sexually harrassing men. He’s actually not gay–it’s some kind of primate dominance thing. Like, “I can do anything I want to you and there’s nothing you can do about it, because I’m the alpha here.”

Pretty sure that’s more illegal.

Good stuff but uh…bit late now.

Hows that different than any job tho? Most jobs are like that no one cares when it happens to men.

You said the only way to avoid a harrassment suit was not to hire women at all. I’m just pointing out that harrassment happens in all-male companies as well. And the male victims, in this case, did threaten a lawsuit.

I think because everyone expected an even greater version of D2. I hardly play anymore and my friend list has been MIA for a long time

Being fired for failing to take action on what’s turned into legal issues or for even taking part in those problems is not a firing “based on feelings”. Right now the company is in triage status. Hanging on to employees who will likely be named in the lawsuit is not part of the solution.
