Bravo WoW team, bravo. Goodness- I’ve always loved this game but I don’t recall the story ever eliciting an emotion response like this one did. Damn good job!

Dragonflight Ruled
Yeah I teared up a little.
The Kaldorei finally got an unmitigated, non-phyrric win, and we actually saw the strong emotional bonds between Malformed, Tyrande and Shandris as an actual family that’s now finally safe enough to be a family and not just three emotionally bludgeoned pillars of the Kaldorei people.
Grumpy orc sounds.
You get to see Tyrande and Malfurion smooch, or you have to help Thrall with his next midlife crisis, or help Magni heal some woons, Champion.
The kiss was perfect. I don’t care who knows: I am a Tyrande and Malfurion fanperson. I remember seeing them together for the first time in 2002 during my first Warcraft III playthrough.
I know WoW’s writing hasn’t exactly been kind to them over the years, but I still root for them every chance I get.
There were some sweet moments that brilliantly struck the right emotional chords.
Overall I think Dragonflight can objectively be considered a good expansion. Not great, but good. Good content, good pacing, good characters and development, and a reasonable story. Next to Shadowlands it’s absolute gold.
Autocorrect is a cruel mistress …
Ah, yes. This is very reason I played WoW for almost 15 years.
Rather bold to suggest that the return of Malfurion is a win for Night Elves.
I loved this
I ~L O V E~ this image. I also stand with Maerlyn in loving Malfurion and Tryrande together.
