For the Yellow Serpent mount, and it was a fun progress. Of course outleveling the zone makes it even faster, but that’s not my point. The grinding was fun because the zone is greatly designed, with top notch music, graphics and with plenty of rares/stuff to collect. There was even a daily quest to answer lore question about Mue’zhala!
I enjoyed Argus and I’m currently having a good time on Nazjatar despite some issues. But I think most will agree that both TImeless Isle and Isle of Thunder designs were on another level. And without the need to adding tons of enemies (crabs, looking at you) clustered on every corner.

Timeless isle was the best zone ever put into the game.

To each their own, As for me one of my favorite map was Grizzly isle was one of my favorite map, and i did hate Pandara.
Remove the gating on Timeless Isle that requires you to have the no-longer attainable cloak, and we’ll have more fun there! Seriously! It’s been HOW LONG since those cloaks were retired? TOO LONG!

Regarding Timeless Isle, I have one and only one thing to complain about the Monstrous Spineclaw.
This rare has a chance to drops pet, it spawns by killing other small crabs. This makes it one of the worst pet collecting rares in Wow to me.

I think pandaria as a continent was a tour de force from the dev team.
I love Timeless Isle, but grinding those 100k coins on a hunter drove me to drink.

I’m rather inclined to agree. That’s where I really fell in love with WoW.

Yeah, another level of BS.
I guess if you just want to run around, kill a couple of things and move on, then yes it’s a neat zone.
But there’s a reason it’s called the “TIMELESS” Isle. It was Blizzard’s first experiment with multiple layers of RNG. If you were a collector/ Achv hunter, the “Timeless” Isle was SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to keep you there forever.
The old design was that once you found the Rare, you got the loot.
Timeless Isle gave us 50+ Rare mobs, all that had random timers, often tied to killing other mobs, and when they finally spawned, you didn’t get any loot! The drop chances are all 1% at best.
And before you even try and defend this RNG-experiment, tell me why Blizzard obviously has the tech to allow a group to all get a hit on a “big boss” (eg: Galleon, Nalak), but then don’t use that tech for similar mobs, forcing players to ENDLESSLY try and tag a mob that dies in 1 hit??
You aren’t seriously going to defend that, are you?
There is no freaking reason Huolon doesn’t have the same “slow kill” dynamic as Galleon. So much so that I forgot Huolon’s name… and I typed in google “stupid mob on timeless isle” and the first hit is “Huolon.”
That sums up the RNG-insult that is the Timeless Isle.

fun/enjoyable grind (timeless coins) vs. not fun grind (Azerite, essences, artifact weapons, etc.)
One gives you a nice reward while the others just let you play your character to how it should be. zzz.
I’ve always been a fan of the QD dailies back in BC.

TI was great. They haven’t come close to that so far. Mechagon isn’t too bad, it’s far better than Tanaan/Broken Shore/Argus/Nazjatar.
Come closer, my friend Orc, and tell us where did Timeless Isle hurt you. Maybe you got burn on Ordo’s fire?

I clearly outlined why Timeless Isle was, and still is, bad for the game.
I even gave an example of what could be done, still to this day, to make it better.
And your choice of response is to pathetically attempt to mock me? Sounds about right for GD.

Yep. MoP had great content.
I didn’t like Isle of Thunder at all. Timeless Isle was good.
Isle of Thunder/Argus and Nazjatar are all zones I dislike.
I can’t stand Nazjatar. To me it’s one of the worst zones in the game. At least I can fly there… when I decide to go back. I have my 100 rep achievement so my motivation is bottoming out.
I have the requisite coins but not the rep to buy it.
When the MoP timewalking comes around, you can cheese your way to exalted.
I always love going back and doing older content grinds for some relaxing chill gameplay away from the main population of the game.
