Why is this always the argument used against players who put in extra effort when prior content/rewards are handed out? Why doesn’t Blizzard tell the casuals “just enjoy the game” instead of giving out rewards? You don’t need BiS to complete content, so why does it feel necessary to change?
And just to boot, I don’t have the WSG exalted and 100% am using the welfare system for all my toons to get PvP handouts. I’ve always thought it was a bad philosophy to discourage extra effort.
Its good to make changes in the game because how shamans were broken plus shadow priests yeah and how shamans made 1 freaking melee shot, mhmm and alliance could barely win a dang game of WSG ive been spamming it just to try to get into a premade horde just won every single time we only won once because we had a ton of paladins and priests.
Another thing was how powerful and broken shadow priests were. They would just put a ton of dots on you and bam your dead

I hit Exalted on three separate characters through WSG and I’m fine with the change. A) it’s season of alts so long grinds don’t really have a home B) parsing is a larger part of SoD and we should strive to remove some of the barriers to play and C) raid level gear makes rep items less important so the grind should be correspondingly less brutal to make it worth the effort.

Nobody actually grinded WSG rep back in the day. You just hit Exalted because you played BGs so much.
Think about this for a second. People played the game so much that they just hit Exalted with WSG organically without thinking about. Seriously think about that. Then sleep on it. You will have epiphany about this game.

What about the fact that WSG is garbage and most people hate it?
It’s a chore to play.
It isn’t fun. So instead of forcing people into something that isn’t fun for a very long time, they have made it so people can do the Ashenvale event which is quick and most people don’t mind doing it.
Ashenvale is PACKED at all times, and that’s a good thing.
Good thing its optional.
How about we give full BiS raid gear at the end of every phase to every toon and see how these raid centrists act then.
Rogues can tank now. You don’t need to PVP until 60. Someone already made a post about how the new set gives less stam than a ragtag set they put together themselves from the AH.
