That way the elitist nochanges crowd can still have their horrific meta of nothing but warriors, but other classes can at least compete in what they are meant to.
These are not era servers. There are 30 something servers that are frozen in 2004 that people can live out their fantasy of nochanges on. This is our fifth release after 20 years. Somechanges
I’m against modern changes but definitely support earlier release of tbc prepatch as it would truly be a unique experience with the lvl 70 talent tree, both factions having pallies/shams and your “meme” specs being highly desirable for pve.
No this is not 2005 and has not been for almost 20 years - but that’s not an excuse for calling #SomeChanges#NoChanges just because it is not the changes you would have liked.
I see these anniversary servers as “Fresh Era” so telling us to play on Era make no sense, it’s you guys that should play elsewhere since you absolutely want changes. If we let you guys go with your wonderful ideas, this would become Retail in no times, everyone knows that.
But it’s okay to lobby for unnecessary change because that same meta community won’t take your spec that is capable of doing the content just as the devs designed it? What would you do if they gave you CS, but people still refused to take you anywhere because they can still get all the same buffs from Holy Paladin and ignore you while continuing the warrior meta?
They released an anniversary version to match how it was in 2019, and will progress to TBC, for people who wanted to live that experience.
So it’s pretty simple:
-Want that experience? Play it
-Don’t want that experience? Don’t play it.
This isn’t a new game, nor an early-release version of a game.
It is literally a re-release for people who want to experience the game as it was. If that doesn’t appeal to you, then simply don’t play it. Very simple.
