200% crit hits is not wrong ?
Not running out of mana is not wrong ?
Not "missing" with a weapon where you have 0 skill is not wrong ?

As you've noticed, the Classic Demo does have realm sharding. This is to let as many people as possible experience it without technical issues such as server capacity or spawn density getting in the way.

Longer term, we know how crucial it is to the Classic experience for you to see your friends when you walk into Stormwind or when you’re helping them on a quest you’ve already completed. And there should only ever be one Kazzak on a realm, no matter how many people are waiting for him to spawn.

We’re still looking at how we can best deliver an authentic Classic experience at launch, and in the weeks and months that follow - both in terms of gameplay and community. You won’t see phasing (which is tied to specific quests that don't exist in Classic) or cross-realm zones (which combine multiple realms together) in Classic. However, realm sharding is one of the best tools we have to keep realms stable when hundreds of players are swarming the same initial few zones and killing the same few mobs (like they will be at the launch of Classic). To that end, we do believe that some form of sharding may be helpful, especially in those early days. But we recognize that a cohesive world is critical to WoW Classic and are committed to bringing that to you.

This is absurd spin. There are deep mechanical flaws and general tuning problems with their classic demo. Spells are critting for too much, some spell effects aren't original, you see level 16 toons beating up level 19 dust devils easily, etc, etc.

Classic isn't this long lost fragment of a memory that people have forgotten. Quite authentic private servers like Kronos and Nost have been up for years, and entire communities of classic enthusiasts have studied this to get it right.
Private servers don't have LFG or working summoning stones. gtfo

I'm not even worried about the sharding, because expected that with it being a weird demo where everyone's locked in one zone together.

The things people are rightfully complaining about have nothing to do with sharding.
It is always objectively bad players who make posts like this lol

Not a fan of this, but if it's limited to the starter zones, I'm not jumping ship if it's included. If it extends beyond the starter zones, though...

Sad thing is that this is also critical for the retail game too. Just sayin’.
Private servers have had everything wrong for 14 years, they haven't been running on official blizzard hardware. Haven't had the original wow db or server. They are the furthest from original classic wow, they are an immitation at best.

I hate that people think it has to be identical to nost. They didn't have everything perfect at all.

The funny part is people don't realize that Nost actually had working Sharding. It was all over their forums at the time and they even had a youtube video explaining the benefits of it, but no one really complained there about it, as it made stuff smoother for everyone, as it only kicked in when zones hit a HUGE amount of people.
