Careful he’s going to start foaming at the mouth.
Says who? You?
Lol I invite you to tell me why high elves under the void elf nameplate for gameplay purposes only can’t be paladins.
Thought you had me on ignore. Poor little pooch.
i more want it so the people who’re gonna rp as ‘high elves’ will be able to be paladins too.
It sadly ran out, it’s been that long already.
I’m waiting, unless you’re just here to continue to show you never had anything to offer the discussion, like we both know is true.
Just trolling along side him isn’t an answer.
Just shows how mature the anti side really is.
What’s there to be said?
Blizzard has decided Void Elves and Paladins don’t get along. They decided LFD DKs are okay but it’s their lore. Fortunately for everyone here if you wanna play a pale skin blonde hair High Elf Paladin, you can do so as a Blood Elf thanks to Blizz’s statements on these customizations.
I know you don’t like these facts of truth, Cezol but that’s how it is. Sorry, my guy.
They said they were High Elf options, not that they weren’t Void Elves. They’re probably High Elf Wayfarers who learned the Void and took the name Void Elf. Again, I highly doubt there were Paladins in this group.
Thought so, nothing constructive as usual.
Nothing there says why the high elves blizzard has seemingly connected to void elves can’t be paladins with some tweaking to the creation UI, so your answer is: “what’s done is done, blah blah anti rhetoric, go play a blood elf blah blah”.
Good thing requests don’t work that way hu Reno? Since you didn’t denounce any lore connections between this request.
Back to ignore .
Doesn’t mean there can’t be, there are high elf paladins.
Where are the high elf wayfarers coming from? Quel’Danil? The silver covenant? Everywhere?
Even if they aren’t from a place with high elf paladins, who’s to say they can’t learn to be them while in the Alliance, alongside not only the vast majority of other high elves, but the faction of traditional paladins?
Oh believe me, telling you the facts is plenty constructive.
But it does because they can’t be them now. That’s how it is in reality, sorry!
Just like I have no issues with playable High Elves, I have no issues with Void Elf Paladins but Blizz has decided No. That’s just how it is, Cezol.
I mean go ahead, we all know this is what happens when Cezol can’t debate someone.
Poor little Cezol.
Yes, there are. I just find it unlikely that Paladins would line up to learn Void magic.
Maybe if they wanted to die horribly.
Good thing paladins aren’t, and high elves are…apparently.
Like someone mentioned above, high elves learning void elf techniques would still be able to be paladins, there’s no infusion: which is the major “against” everyone has for the idea.
Otherwise why can undead use the light? Why can Lightforged be shadow priests?
Sadly I can’t find a source for this, but I remember it being stated somewhere that Priests channeled powers from the outside, instead of the inside like Paladins. But I can’t find the source anywhere, so maybe I’m just crazy.
On this, Undead can even be Paladins. But it apparently causes them extreme pain. Only the crazies of the Scarlet Crusade are seen as Undead Paladins.
Alleria was infused, in a different way from the blue elves, while retaining her look. It’s possible to assume the new Void Elves might be infused in a similar way.
Regardless of infusion or not though, we’ve just never seen any Paladins in the lore who were interested in learning the Void while staying a Paladin, at least not that I’ve heard of.
I’m not saying no, I’m just saying I don’t see it as likely.
Because Blizzard said they could. Just like they said Void Elves can’t be Paladins.
Not that hard to understand.
behave little doggie
Then I hope that connects the customization to this, or any other lore reason.
There’s a reason these threads are popping up, it’s possible, people are just eager to shut every high elf discussion down
