why is that so hard for Blizzard to accept? I mean the development team is the only ones actually pushing it 100% and of course anything the players say in opposition is disregarded
if they aren’t willing or able to design enough content to keep us engaged enough having flight at max level then perhaps its not a player problem the fault clearly lies with the company
stop using excuses like immersion or content drought as a means to time gate fun or do the current dev team not remember Burning crusade? there was tons of content and flying was perfectly fine but now were basically an MMO on an oval track
what happened to the passion for the game the older team had? now theyre more concerned with a bunch of suits in a boardroom that don’t even play this game they only want more money well guess what happy customers and a fun engaging game without being treated like a hamster wheel can make that happen
TLDR stop letting your vision dictate how players should have fun and I guarantee the MAUs and money will take care of itself
I wouldn’t call it a failure. I think the wait time for it sucks, but pathfinder itself is pretty okay. Makes sense, all the content added is playing the game before flying over it. And this is coming from someone whose content immensely improves with flight.
I still think it should come with the X.1 patch, however.
A failure? It achieved its intended purpose. To give fluff content like WQs and other “chores” actual substance by tagging rep onto them. Keep padding those MAUs son.
The idea of it is fine. It is the current implementation of it that is terrible. It should take about half as long to unlock as it does now, then not as many people would have issues with it. As it stands now though, they are moving in the wrong direction and it seems like they keep stretching it out further and further. How far away are we from a pathfinder pt. III?
Sorry I guess I missed the “Offical Koloi’s Poll on Pathfinder” in my mail… Here is a suggestion, next time when you want to start a serious discussion don’t assume that everyone else agrees with you.
I would like to add that dungeons should give rep - based on location or w/e tabard you wearing. Only having WQs as an outlet to unlock pathfinder sucks.
I support this. But I also don’t think anyone should be able to speed farm it all by taking advantage of the availability of both.
So then I started thinking about the old Conquest system–how there was a weekly cap, but we could earn it in any way that we want (BG’s, rated, arena, etc). Which in turn is just a different version of timegating–which I am not a fan of :\
Imo if they are gonna timegate the new season, raid, dungeon by 2 weeks then they should have made pathfinder part 2 quick. We already did rep grinds in part 1. Part 2 should have just been explore and complete main story quests in both zones. I don’t think I would have minded the 2 week wait for real content as much if I was able to fly around the new zones and older patch content. Just my 2 cents though.
No, they should have stopped listening to people who cried it negatively effects the game, especially things like world pvp which was non-existent for years do to race changes and server migration.
Or the people who said it makes content trivial
Sorry but if I have a quest that requires me to kill 7 murlocs, how i get there isn’t gonna change the fact I have to kill 7 murlocs
No, it isn’t. I’ve earned flight so many times I’ve lost count. I genuinely hate this game without flight. And this xpac I’ll never have it because I barely play anymore. I force fed myself that garbage zone in Legion just to get flight. Now it’s just not worth the effort, because the game isn’t worth the effort.
Because when your company sells mounts that fly, lets you earn mounts that fly, one would expect those items to function as advertise in all versions of the game.
