Just add Transmog for Phase 8

My main goal was naxx and t3 and in phase 8 were gonna be wearing tbc gear, but i still want to rock my t3 look.

They should have lead off with this, make it toggle able so you don’t see it if you don’t want to…

sure only if the toggle works.

otherwise no.

Why no? Do you really need to know what someones wearing?

in pvp , yes.

honestly i dont see the problem with me being able to turn off seeing your transmog.

i do see the problem with being forced to see it though.

The sets look so bad, only the plate looks half way decent. Everything else straight butt cheeks

I fully support adding transmog, and I fully support letting people toggle whether they see the original gear or the transmog. I really only care about how my character looks to me.

Heck, I even support letting you transmog other players’ characters. Have sets for every person in your raid group that only you see. Make your allies look uniform; you could all cosplay as soldiers of Stormwind, or wear green to look like druids. Or, if you have that one annoying guy, you can dress him up as a clown. And only you’d see it. You could even color coordinate to make your healers all wear white, casters blue, ranged dps orange, melee yellow, tanks black. Or everyone black, but you brightly colored, so you never get lost on your screen again.

Seriously, go as nuts as you want, and I don’t care. It doesn’t hurt anybody.

I just wish t3 actually had some recolors… since they made it practically useless outside of naxx.

The 6 piece has limited uses but the 2 and 4 are useful in all content

How about no.

I love to quest, but there are certain pieces of gear that you won’t see while doing so. There’s never a shortage of chest pieces or cloaks or leggings whiile questing/dungeoning.

That being said, if you added in transmog, the price for greens and upgradeable gear would sky rocket, just like they did with retail and Cata Classic.

“Oh, I could use that green, and it’s only a gold? Okay, I’ll get it, it’s worth paying for” is going to turn into “What the heck?! 300g for a pair of Embossed Leather Pants?!”

Then all you’re going to see in chat is “Eye of the beholder” “Supply and demand broski”, and we’ll probably go tens of levels without seeing a decent upgrade because there’s no way we can afford greed like that. It hurt the economy when it first came out, it hurt when it got implemented in Cata Classic, and it’s going to hurt again if they do it in Vanilla.

Oh no, for the four hours it takes to get to 60 you won’t be bis!

Lmao you dont need to buy greens. Either craft them or do dungeons period. If they made greens 300g that’ll be a damn plus for me.

What if I’m using one of the 20+ transformation items and hiding my appearance?

You don’t need to know what I’m wearing lol.

Good! It would be nice to actually make more than vendor gold while you’re leveling.

You can’t compare prices in Cataclysm which has the WoW token and is way older and a later expansion. Gold is more inflated than SoD, I can run some dungeons for the week and make 8k gold selling a valor BoE.

The reason why lower level items are expensive is because the max level is 85 and few players are interacting with that content and heirlooms are in the game. Theres no need to craft low level LW items in Cata other than to train.

If you’re really that down bad for leveling greens, take your level 60 and go farm them. I imagine if they’re worth that much, people will be doing that.

The runes hard carry you while leveling in SoD. You can just run dungeons for gear.

Nobody runs low level dungeons anymore. It’s just incursions from 25-53 and then BRE dailies from 53-60.

…but yeah, I don’t see a reason to not have transmog in the game. All of the arguments against it are dumb or out of touch with how the game works.

“noo I need to see peoples gear in PvP!”

You can already use transformation items like noggenfogger to hide your gear lmao

“What the heck?? This random green that I just found sells for 300g? Wew lad I can sell it on the AH and get rich!”

Fixed that for you.

Not true. There are lots of 15-30 dungeons going daily, it’s not all the time but I see a lot of them. I bet you’d see a lot more if running the dungeons was profitable too.

add tmog, yes yes yes :icecream:

I’m on the most populated PvE server and LFG chat is 99% max level dungeons. Nobody does low level dungeons, it’s not worth the time spamming “LF tank” for an hour. The only low level dungeon I ever see ads for is Deadmines, and that’s because incursions don’t start until level 25.

yes. i like seeing the outfits as they are.

I’m okay if you have localized tmog as long as it doesn’t affect me.
