Just add a random Mythic+ queue with match making just remove failed key penalty

I think blizz should add a Mythic+ queue. Match making would be easy, just pair people with the same amount of M+ score along with the Median key(between the highest and lowest key) of that character/player has timed.

Remove the penalty for key failure completely because you are at the mercy of random pugs which adds difficulty level.

Give tanks and heals a loot bonus so that they que.

Add a penalty for key leavers that forces them to run a key 2 levels lower until they have completed a timed key which stacks every time they leave. Also add a surrender button that needs all votes in the party for people that feel like they cant complete the key but don’t want a penalty.

If people dont want to random pug they can plug in a key at a dungeon with the old key system.

You have ranked modes that mash randoms in every other game why not Mythic+?

Edit: Im not saying they should completely axe personal keys. Just add a system for casuals that dont want to sit around applying for groups with ridiculous standards. Let People that want to vet vet in group finder. Let the casuals at least get their foot in the door to experience the content with a queue.

What’s the point of this? To punish people for helping friends run lower keys?

How to tank the completion rate of keys in 3, 2, 1…

I would pay money to watch people use a m+ que system. The dps que times would be like 12 hours, but that would be worth the wait honestly.

I will take “No” for 800 Alex

They would just have to run keys on the old system and plug their personal key in at the dungeon.

Nope. The standard deserter penalty should apply, since the group could be backfilled by the system.

yeah nah.

There are smarter ways to improve m+ and queue is not it.

I have never run one of these mythic+ but it seems the key is the real problem from all the years of people getting angry. maybe just fix the key so someone else doesn’t ruin the hard work of the person that earned the key?

Keys are a dime a dozen though. Unless you’re doing very high keys, there’s no shortage of the exact key level and dungeon being run at all times.

You could still do your own personal keys and vet people you dont want in group finder and personal keys, this would would be a system for casuals that just want to get their foot in the door and play rather than be denied by group’s with ridiculous standards .

If there is this option available, of optimised groups with the highest available output, why would a tank/healer ever opt for random groups? At least I’m scared to imagine the quality of tanks/healers that would apply.

Yes, the players who know how keys work would do just that. What would be left over is you bring all the issues with groups in LFD/LFR, and give them actually challenging content. As early cataclysm showed us, if content is queueable, it has to be easy. Else there will just be this endless train of people QQing about it instead of trying to improve.

I’ll entertain this, but how are you going to get tanks to use a que system? The que times for dps would be like 15 hours. That being said, please implement this system, but it has to come with mandatory streaming.

Yeah, a que system in m+ would need a different difficulty and reward structure. It would need its own ladder…like LFR for keys.

Then is it even still M+?

If it has a queue then you could do this!

Until it becomes automated–sorry no deserter penalty.

No, but if this system were to be seriously considered, it just wouldn’t work with the current m+ model. It’d be too difficult for randomly assigned players. While I’d love to watch players actually try something like that lol, it would be more practical to have a seriously watered down version that offers less reward. They’d have to remove half the affixes.

PUGs and difficult content do not go well together. A good example is how LFR groups barely manage to kill bosses with no mechanics, imagine if they actually had to do something besides auto attack.

That can not happen, all the “group finder” should do is match you with 4 other players of similar “IO” and put you into a group. After that, you run it just like a premade group would.
